Tommy Tallarico - Fun Amico Conversations

I've been browsing the digital game stores lately (big sales) and the box art for NBA 2K22 caught my eye. 

It's a small thing but the red and blue coloring is very similar to Amico Biplanes.  Obviously, the Amico box art looks hand drawn and 2K22 appears to use effects on top of photos but IMHO: they both have a nice retro aesthetic. I think that the 2K22 art would look even better with a stylized drawing of the player, for the profile image.    

I've always been a fan of box art, especially when those images helped to spark your imagination for games with more "primitive" graphics.

I saw that artwork this morning on Steam and thought the same thing!

I just found these additional covers, which have an even stronger retro aesthetic.  Now I'm curious if the Cross-Gen and 7th Anniversary Editions are hand drawn, from scratch, or tweaked photos?  Either way, I'd say that they look great.

Hey man, how's the countdown for the release date that was never stated officially and was only a desired "if possible goal"? I mean, that's totally hilarious. Can you update us as you've been doing for the last month? How many days are left? Like, 29? That's so fun, man! 🤓🌮💔😭
