So Tommy...just thinking out loud. How about a subscription service for physical games? However its handled...through Intellivision directly. Maybe Bestbuy gets an exclusive physical and you hand over a subscription list of 1000+ folk who all need to be satisfied first??? What retailer wouldn't want to fight for an exclusive where you've sold the first "X" amount of copies for them?

 

Myself i like to collect mint. So when things like this go up i'll be after them from whatever retailer they are at. I'm also in Canada and hope i have access to all of them...if you take the work out of my hands its just another way Amico sets itself apart. Not to seem Lazy

Of course he would. In fact, he's already made the call and the two are in talks right now.  I swear, there isn't anyone Tommy doesn't know.

I mean, who does he NOT know??  And on the same note, he will also spend his time in here answering every single question that's asked of him and invites them over to his house to play Intellivision.  This is freakin' incredible.  This is the most open and transparent I have ever seen a company in the world of video games act EVER.  It's really quite amazing.  And so, with that said, I don't care how many consoles are sitting in the IE warehouses.  Nobody does.  Literally, nobody.

So, I just received the email for the next round of Amico preorders. I loved the car crash game. It kinda reminded me of Bomberman with cars. It looks really fun.

 

I also told my wife after watching the video, "Ok what I learned from the video is, women can't drive, but they are great at setting traps."

 

She laughed.

Unfortunately, because of the way my words on subjects like this have been used against me... I will not be answering these types of specific questions anymore.  You can thank the obsessed haters for that. 
 

But here's an answer at least... I don't know.  No one knows.  Sony & Microsoft don't know... so why should we know.  Tell those folks to message the president of Nintendo and ask him what his Switch numbers will be this fall.  They are publicly traded... so I'm sure they must know.  See if they get an answer.   

 

Also... if people are uncomfortable with not knowing that answer before they put down their 100% completely refundable at any time pre-order deposit... then they shouldn't.  No one is holding a gun to anyone's head saying they MUST buy an Amico.  Wait til the machine comes out, try it, see if they like it and then buy it if you like it.  What a simple concept!!   But I don't want to hear any bitching from those folks when they can't find it on store shelves because it's scarce and everyone wanted one and they are SOLD OUT everywhere.  THAT I have given notice about.

Tommy, please answer if you can. For physical games will the 100s of megabytes of game actually be on the physical object you buy as the game or will there only be an option to download the 100s of megabytes for the game from the internet when you buy a physical game? Thank you.

Everyone gets at least 1 of each trap every round.

 

Timing is everything with each trap.

Thanks!  Totally understandable.  That is the reason why I wanted to feature that particular game.  Showing a few second clip in a trailer just doesn't do it justice.

Yeah... that is the thing that I keep trying to tell folks.  People have been so programmed to judge a game based on its graphics from a trailer.  With interactive media (especially with the way we designed the system and controllers) folks can't possibly understand the fun factor until you get it in your hands.  This is why it cracks me up so much when people declare how awful the system is because we show gameplay footage for something they haven't even played.

 

Wait til you guys see what we're doing with SafeCracker!!  So unique and super fun!!!!!!!!!!!  Same with Evel Knievel.  I crack up knowing that all the games the haters dislike the most... are the ones that are testing off the charts in focus groups.
