Of course I preordered one yesterday. 

 

Just for info purposes: After preordering with a refundable $100 deposit of the ultimate $299 cost of the Founder's Edition, people got a receipt from Paypal if they used that service. Otherwise, Intellivision plans to issue some kind of "you've preordered" email today. The available 2600 preorders sold out in about four hours. 

Also, I notice it being a bit less finalized in the OP, looks like a more concrete price point officially stated for the Limited Edition: "The regular price of the Limited Edition Vintage Woodgrain will be between $259-$279. "

I'm actually interested in Pong because its the one game I can see making great use of the disc pads rotation feature.  BTW, is it digital or true analog in terms of the rotation?

Disc is digital, like a 64 point spinner.  They might just use the touchpad for paddle control.  Same thing applies to breakout, and warlords.  Pong is an underated game and the soccer/hockey variations will be popular.

 

Looking to see how Auto Racing controls.

I thought I saw that demon attack might be published on Amico. That would be a must buy for me, hoping I didn’t make this up!

If I remember right they can do it but aren't currently. Out of the games they do they let the devs pick what game they want to work on.

Right, Demon Attack and Ice Trek are not among the two Imagic games that are "up and running".

It was fine for kids of the 70’s and 80’s.   But with the current generation of overly sensitive snowflakes it will be to be too much.

Ugly System great games, I will be fist to say I was way off on projections, for this thing to sell out in under 7 hours wow.

Out of curiosity. Why would you want to buy one only after a limited preorder sold out? Isn't like anything has changed since before the preorder.

Well for one I loved the games I saw, with the retro look and modern tech, secondly I rather have that retro type way back in time shopper feeling whenthey hit stores.

It just seemed like it was the selling out of the preorders that made you want to buy it.

I am happy I ordered the FE. I will also purchase another Amico in the store to bring back that retro feeling of purchasing a new console old school style!

Proud to be an FE!  I can't wait to play some of these fun games with the family!  2020 is looking better every month!
