Intellivision Amico - Tommy Tallarico introduction + Q&A

I guess it does look like it's going to sell out today you have to keep in account people buying multiple but I knew you wouldn't have had to be there right at the top of the hour though as you see there was plenty of time.

I'm sure Tommy will be thrilled to see how quickly these sold.

I'm sure they are already considering how they will be marketing this, but I would hope to see commercials on network TV for this system as it gets closer to launch. Plenty of people still watch network TV for their favorite shows, and are exposed to good old-fashioned TV ads. I'd imagine that's just the type of market they are aiming for.

Honestly, I expected these to sell out even faster

It's still quick enough to look "good" to investors, but this way, a lot more people can get what they're looking for.

Yes it will probably be tomorrow - considering it was 10PM in Europe when the email hit I bet the rest will get swept up when Europe wakes up late tonight. So probably somewhere around 24 hours unless there was a bunch of ordering issues which caused over orders or something.

I was working and didn't anticipate there being any left by the time I arrived home... but my email came in at 3:01 CST... shortly before I arrived home, and I GOT ONE!  EXCELLENT!

edit: I got an immediate email from PayPal saying it had gone through.

My order was in about 2 minutes after 1pm pst haha.  

Must admit I am worried though until I get an official receipt that they received my payment.

I paid by Debit/Credit Card and all I received was a small dialog window my Transaction Was Completed by Thomas and to click Ok.

I was waiting on some email with receipt but did not happen yet.

I did confirm with my bank $100 was authorized to Intellivision but they had not taken it yet and showed pending when I last checked.

So, hopefully it shows as an official charge tomorrow and I get some email from Intellivision the order is 100%.

For now I just wait thinking all is OK.. so hope it is.

Looking forward to getting my Amico late September early October before the stores get them.

It's only 5PM pacific right now. I suspect West Coasters getting home from work will sell it out before I go to bed tonight....🤔 

Also, it's still mid-morning in Japan and other East Asian countries.

I mentioned earlier in the thread that I've been unemployed for a while and just got a job now. So I can't afford it right now. I wish I could, but I have to pass this time.

Oh gosh I must have missed that post, sorry man. Let’s hope some of these double orders people placed get refunded or Tommy advertise when people back out and you can score one!

It might go through now that things have slowed down a bit or might be flagged if you are out of the country. You can try calling the CC and then IE if they have a phone number to push it through. 

I can't wait to listen to that earthworm Jim CD. There was a bunch of other stuff that came along with it including something called an Amico?
