Lol... I have an FE and wasn't planning on getting a VIP, but you just convinced me on the controllers angle. Household of 4 and now I don't have to worry about tracking down extra ones and I'll hook up the spare in my office for "work time" 🙂

Did we ever get an estimate on how much controllers are going to cost? 

Per @vongruetz excellent logic, if you were eventually going to get 4 total controllers, a 2nd system isn't that expensive if we assume the controllers are at least $30 each. $60 in controllers plus $25 gift card is decent 'discount' off the system price.

Rationalization is fun!! 😁

For me the rationalization was that you get four controllers, two consoles, $75 in credit, and a more autographed lenticular stuff than you can shake a stick at.

Plus, the FE console will be hand signed by Tommy, and are you really going to want the kids messing around with that one? No, of course not.  It works out better for everyone if there are at least two in every house.

Was wondering about that.  Ramps, Jumps, even pitfalls and elevator traps to drop you/fling you up onto one of two concurrent tracks.. so just when you've got the hang of track A, grandma just dropped you onto track B.  Maybe a track switch to divert you suddenly onto the part of the track you weren't expecting.  Thought about switching directions to disorient and mix-up expectations, but I think it'd only work if all cars were simultaneously switched.. otherwise it's just a second or two til an inevitable collision.  

WOULD be cool if you get a bonus, go-go-Gadget type weird trap avoidance per level, and nobody knows what trap avoidance you have.  They can each play one of their three traps but they don't know when you'll use your [get out of jail free card].  If you're not familiar with Coup Fourré/Mille Bornes, a card game where the objective is to earn miles and place auto hazards on other players (who in turn can earn invulnerabilities or play their invulnerabilities when you play your hazard, as a surprise coup fourré (counter-attack), check it out.  Fun, easily understood party game.

I missed out on the FE cuz I was just starting work after being unemployed, but now I got some saved up for this one, so thanks for the offer! I got the black one. 

Does this mean I'm the 2101st buyer today? It's 2:10pm EST.

i'll tell ya Tommy & The Amico(hmm that would be a cool band name!) couldn't have come at a better time to make us have something to really look forward to in this strange and depressing time 

I would like to have AUTO RACING with a figure 8 track !

Is there anyway to pay additional payments in advance? I would really want to be able to pay this off before shipping...don't want any surprises....lol...God I'm so excited for this thing....today was not a good day...lot of work garbage, busted my finger...this really turned it around for me today...

Quite possibly.  I was three minutes later and my order's jumped to #02148.  For multiple consoles.  Think it's a good Tuesday in Irvine.
