Intellivision Amico - Tommy Tallarico introduction + Q&A

I don't think a 128GB micro should be an issue.  @RxScram??  Can you confirm??

In regards to the phones as controllers.  They work great for party games.  I wouldn't recommend them for action games though... although the button attachments do make them a LOT more playable.  Especially games like Skiing, Shark! Shark! and even Night Stalker!  @nurmix will confirm!

Hey @Tommy Tallarico,

Yep, 128GB is not a problem!

Yep!  That's the exact paint we're using!  I showed @The Atari Creep a render of the Galaxy Purple console.  Don't want to put words in his mouth... but I believed he was impressed.   :)

Pics will be released over the next few weeks I believe.  It's a tie in with a pre-order at retail.

Yes, it was lovely. LOL Seriously though, I think a lot of folks, especially motorcycle/car folks will like it a lot.

AC, what I wanna know is how cool the box art for the system looks! I know you can’t give details...just rate it on cool collector value 😁

I've actually shown it to @The Atari Creep and @OEB_Pete.  I swore them to secrecy... but they may be able to comment generally if they think it's cool or not.  :)

Lots of though and class went into just the box. Hard talking about it and not F up here but let's say this, it will make you feel like you purchased something more than a "toy" when opening it. Class is the best way I can describe it. Hope that's not too much @Tommy Tallarico You are permitted to shoe me in the nuts when repoing my Amico stuff if it is. LMAO

I honestly do not remember seeing the art, but that could be because I have a deal where I forget stuff. Plus we talked about so much in a short time after I stopped recording. I can say I have seen the blank box itself and commented on that ^up there somewhere^.

Hi guys, always nice to read your posts, some very interesting and even "professional".  It's great to feel "inside" the creation of Amico thanks to Tommy's revelations and your questions and curiosities.  I'm sorry that every now and then because of the language, I can't fully understand certain jokes or double meanings.  But I'm always here every day to keep up to date on what seems to be the most innovative novelty in the field of video games.  Finally we will return to play as once, immediately, without many complicated things to learn or remember.  One thing I wanted to tell you: My Father many years ago gave me the original intellivision, it was my first video game console.  I took the founders' edition to give it to my son (11 years old), it must have been a surprise until the day of arrival, but seen how things got here (and all over the world) with the virus yesterday  evening at dinner with my wife and daughter present, I revealed to him that yes, he too will be part of the 2600 founders, and that in many years (hopefully many) he will remember me, as I remember my father who unfortunately does not  there is more, every time I hear the word "intellivision".  He was very excited, went around the table to come and hug me, he was incredulous and happy at the same time.  I confess to you, that more than a tear has fallen.  So Tommy, Amico for our family, is already much more than a console.  Now after this thing that I wanted and had to share with you, I have a question to ask.  Time Pilot, I saw your drawings as a boy a few posts back, I loved this game, tell me that you are planning something similar also for Amico, it would be fantastic.  Greetings from Italy, where we recently celebrated the anniversary of the liberation from Nazifascism. I seem to have read that your grandfather also fought for freedom in those years, honor to your grandfather Tommy!

Cool sounds neat and like a true collectible! Love all the box art on older systems! Thanks!

I didn't show the art... we're still working on that.  I just showed you the box (everything was white).  I just don't want you to think you're losing your mind.   :D

I would like to see Skee-ball as a game for the Amico. Old amusement Park type games would work well for the Amico controller.

I asked Tommy about this over a month ago.  He said Skee-ball would be on Amico.

All I know is with this much thought, care and attention to detail with JUST the box, I have absolute confidence in the system! Can’t wait to see the art 😀

That reminds me.

I'd love to see an update on the old Theme Park World that Bullfrog Studios made back at the turn of the century. They haven't made one in almost 20 years. I know RCT & Planet Coaster are a little much for simplicity, but TPW was a fun little sim game that Amico could handle with ease.

That is something that I am also happy about.

Motion controls is fun, but not for all games.

Example, for baseball, maybe you will want to have a game where we can swing for real,

but I hope that I will have a baseball game that I only have to push buttons.

Maybe you will have two different baseball games !? One with motion controls and one without them ! :)

I believe having control options in games like that would be better than separate games personally.

Oh yeah (picking on you!)

They already got the rights to this Amusement park themed game. 🥳

Hi Tommy. I have questions about FIG.CO for investment purposes.

You don't have to tell me if it's a good idea or not, but I would like to know more details.

1- If I understand correctly, the 1st step is to indicated if we would be interested in investing and how many shares.

If the program works (according to the interest shown by the investors) at this time we will have to confirm our participation and our purchase. That's right ?

2- The return on investment will be calculated according to a % of the revenues on the console and games. How long? The 1st year ? The entire life of the console ?

3- To decide if the investment is worth it, you need to have information like "How much profit will be made for each console and Games".
Will this information be available by them before making the final decision ?

4- (if we have one) When do we get a return on our investment ? Every year ? When we sell our shares like with a public company ?

Thank you very much Tommy for the few additional details you could provide.
It is not obvious to you because of conflicts of interest and because some details have yet to be finalized.
