Man, that's a garbage Retropie setup if there ever was one.  I like a lot of his videos, but I disagree with him on this one.  Retroflag makes the BEST retro looking RP cases.  I have the Sega Genesis that I use as my primary case and the NES+ case as well.  They're both well worth the price and make with high quality materials and precision. 

Hmmm... Would be really cool to have a Retroflag version of an Intellivision case.

Hmmm... Would be really cool to have a Retroflag version of an Intellivision case. 

ETA Prime doesn't really do interviews, but he does have some great videos and he does like retro. I think a chat between ETA/Tommy would be a good outreach. Zero Marketing Dollars spent. I don't think he has said anything in any of his videos about the Amico. Plus 450k subscribers would send some positive vibes out there. Probably give some additional subs for the OEB, Atari Creep and the growing voices.

I'd add to that list: LON TV  and Leo Leporte over at TWIT. Both would be good as well. Leo has a ton of many industry people on his various shows. Not really into the gaming space, but the word of mouth to all the non-gamers would be fun to see.

And a big thumbs up for a Retroflag Intellivision Case!

What sad is this is the most acceptable Atari branded product I have seen in a while. I like being able to buy officially licensed games and the case is OK at least (but your right, not as good as the knockoffs).

However everything else:

• Atari Hotels, uh what? I guess - wish you concentrated on the VCS though
• Atari Casinos, really guys? What next a strip club?
• Atari Coin 🤮

At least Atari did release one new game - its called "How Low Are You Willing to Go". However the devs have set a pretty unbeatable high score on the leader boards already. 🙄

I had a question and maybe its been asked but I thought I would ask anyways.  

In light of all the different owners that have made bad decisions with Atari, which really saddens me. Do you see a world where in the future not if but when, because this is how confident I am in the Amicos success that Intellivision could one day buy out Atari?  Or would you guys even want too?

Probably not. But always fun to speculate.

All the casual gamers will digital download. The hardcore collectors will end up buying a mixture of Digital and physical media. Everyone will have to clear space on the shelves!!

I'll be doing digital and physical.  I can't wait to see how Tommy does it for the physical games.  It's gonna be awesome.

Are there any exergaming type games for the Amico expected at launch or year one besides bowling and cornhole? Exergaming is mostly what I think of when I think of the Wii, besides the air racing wheel.

The disc needs to be pushed down at it's edge and touch the contacts to register anything.  So a spinner attachment won't work as expected.

The Amico would have been perfect for Screensavers. (RIP) And Tommy would have been great on Triangulation. (Also RIP)

Maybe one of the guests on some current show will include the Amico as their pick-of-the-week after it’s released. Although sometimes I wonder how much longer TWiT can survive in its current form.

At first I thought I’d be digital-only. But I can now see myself getting some physical versions for games that I loved from the past like Cloudy Mountain or Burger Time. If the boxes have ties to the original artwork, it’ll be an even easier decision. 

I used to love going to department stores as a kid and seeing a huge section of shelf space for boxes from Atari, Intellivision, etc. I wouldn’t mind having some sort of display by the TV for the boxes. A frame that held 4 or 6 boxes might look cool on the wall. (I’m obviously speaking for myself, and not my wife.)
