I’m hopeful Intellivision has entire sports line...all the major sports along with others. Looking for some old school fun 😄Most  fun I had as kid was ice  hockey on Atari 2600, NFL Football on Intellivision and some 4th and Inches and Hardball on my brothers C64!

I CONSTANTLY praise Sony, Microsoft and ESPECIALLY Nintendo.  So to say that I don't do that is misleading.  To say that I am putting them down by merely stating a way that we are different has become an issue with you.... not with me.  It bothers you that I've stated a fact.  Why is that?  You have made it a "thing" by thinking I'm putting them down because I find their content "offensive".  No I don't.  And no I'm not.  Yet you continue to label me as such and this is the part where I say you are misquoting and misleading.  I don't have a problem with Nintendo doing whatever the hell they want.  Same with Sony & Microsoft.  But it still remains a fact that we don't have that kind of material on our system and in our focus testing and research... it is the #2 biggest thing that people LOVE about our system.  How is that putting Nintendo down?  Point me to a line where I say "Nintendo sucks and they should be embarrassed and ashamed for what they are doing.  We are MUCH BETTER than they are because WE DON'T DO THAT NASTY STUFF!"

I knew this info.  But did not remember this off the top of my head!  Baseball-reference is one of my favorite sites....

I was just telling my wife tonight, I haven't really missed MLB this year. 

But I guess I still love the game.  It is really the gap between the haves and havenots and the Overpaid crybabies that I don't miss.

I don't want to get personal.  I don't know this guy in anyway other than TV games, Interviews etc.  But I guess when the Sox got David Price... I lost all respect for the team.

With that said... He should have been MVP of the World Series.

@Tommy Tallarico I get people liking the original NHL, I was just disapointed...  I even tried Slap Shot and Fight for the Cup. 

But glad to hear it is on the list for Amico.   I know one size fits all... should always be advertised as one size fits most.

I have great faith in what you are doing, so I am certain it will be fine.

I think you bring up a great point though and will be interesting to play test and see how the old game style plays when sped up.

It's interesting... in a lot of focus group tests we do one of the things that non-gamers talk about is that some of the games are "too fast".  The SideSwipers game is a perfect example.  Although any of us would find the gameplay speed to be fine... non-gamers thought it went by too fast and because of that... they weren't as interested as other games.  As soon as we put in a special "tutorial" level (that could be played at any time) that was slower paced... they found it a lot more enjoyable.

So we are definitely aware that game speed is sometimes a big barrier to entry for non-gamers/casual gamers, and that more hardcore gamers prefer the fast paced action.  We try to provide both and find a good balance if possible.

I have a question for Tommy. I loved the bag you showed for the Amico on your interview with Pete. I saw there is a place for 2 controllers. What about if I have 8 controllers and I want to bring it all for an Amico party night !!! Is there place in the bag for an extra 2, 4 , or 6 controllers aside from the 2 that you showed that fit nicely in the bag ?

If not for the original TurboGrafx system, I may never have been in the video game industry. It was the shirt I was wearing 30+ years ago when Virgin Mastertronic producer Seth Mendelsohn walked in to Guitar Center and changed my life forever.

I was actually wondering if you still had that shirt. Out of sheer coincidence, I'm actually wearing my PC Engine CoreGrafx shirt right now!

Anyway, have fun with the mini. It's got some issues, but it's not a bad system and I think it is probably the highest quality out of all of the mini consoles so far, although the Japanese and Asian versions of the Mega Drive Mini are very close. I still use my PC Engine mini occasionally since it's less stuff to set up than the SuperGrafx. Dracula X is one of the best performing games on the system and probably also one of the best games on the system.

You could probably easily fit 4 more in the bag itself.  Especially if you had 2 in the "cradle" on the console when you put it in the bag.  There is also a compartment where the power cable goes that would also fit another 2.  So easily 6 and probably even 8 if you packed it tight.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT you never owned one? Get a SuperGrafx and either the SSDS3 or the UperGrafx, depending on what TV (or OSSC/Framemeister) you want to use!

For the mini, it has some variable input lag and variable sound lag, and some games are worse than others. Dracula X is basically fine, but some others like the Bonk games have some sound lag. You might notice the input lag most on games like Lords of Thunder and Space Harrier. Apparently Space Harrier already has some input lag built into the game for some reason. I'm not really sensitive to input lag, but if you compare it side by side with a real system, you'll notice it's there.

Also don't forget that on Blazing Lazers and Soldier Blade (both of which are really damn awesome, by the way), Select changes your speed. This is why you need the Avenue Pad 3 if you get a real system. Also in Dracula X it does the Item Crash, which is more useful than you'd think.

It would be awesome if we could choose to add extra controllers , the bag, Physical games and any other accessories that we want that are ready for launch to be included with the Founders Edition shipment . I want it all !! You sold me on everything 😜

If you are going to bring up stuff someone has said I do hope you dont cherry pick it to fit a narrative because people on here do their research and will know if you have only pick out parts and leaving out others to shape things a certain way. Also love for you to own up to your snes comment referring to how the adult content was on there back then. Because so far I've been watching this unfold and your comments are not adding up. Which will effect your reputation in the end.

I'm not sure what else I can say to you about this subject.  No matter how many times I state how I feel about other consoles... you still completely dismiss it.

You call them "rants".  I believe you're being over dramatic.  That's my personal opinion on the matter.  You may disagree... and that's fine.

But yeah... go ahead and watch the full context of ANY of those videos.  Watch the RICH - REVIEWTECHUSA one where everyone got their panties in a bunch because I mentioned facts about the Switch that people didn't want to hear or know about.  And remember to count all the times I consistently PRAISED Nintendo.  So I ask... have you actually watched the entire interviews?  Or do you just get the out of context "highlights" from other videos?

Yeah... I couldn't afford one at the time they came out.  I was homeless when they launched here in the U.S.  But I remember drooling over it.  And because Virgin (where I worked in the early 90's) never did a game for it... there wasn't one in the office.

Always wanted one.  Today is a special day!  Took me 30+ years to get here and finally play one that I own for myself!!

Have fun, man. The TurboGrafx and PC Engine are really something special and they have one of the single most unique libraries in history. Dracula X alone is one of the best games ever made and has one of the best OSTs I've ever heard in a game. I bought a complete PC Engine setup with the CD-ROM2 and the IFU just for that game. I'd probably start with that one on the mini since it's so good! Oh wait, I did!

If you've never used a real one, don't even worry about any of the bad stuff I said and just play it and have lots of fun with it. It's possible to use certain non-official controllers with it, too, if you didn't get a second controller. It does have support for up to 5 (!) player simultaneous games, too, although there are not a whole lot of them.

Also check out the mini's new "near-Arcade" versions of Gradius, Salamander, and Fantasy Zone. Hold Select as you choose one of those games and it will start the near-Arcade version. You can let go once you see the HuCARD start to go into the system.

“Putting others down”?  Have you not watched the numerous interviews where Tommy has been sure to state explicitly that he is not disparaging the other consoles, and that one of his favorite games is on Nintendo and that the PS is his favorite console (Amico aside)?  His argument is that Amico is a safe ecosystem for families. Great if thats not for you, your choice; but as you have a channel centered on video games, you may not represent the average parent when it comes to parental controls or parents that are unaware that they need to be.

Yeah... I feel I make this painfully clear in every interview I've ever done.   I'm thinking maybe he's only seeing the cut-up highlights that the few haters like to put out there to twist my words around.

Heck... I've told him numerous times in this very thread that I don't feel that way... but it doesn't seem to matter.  He's made up his mind regardless of what I constantly state.

That's fine.  This is the reason why it doesn't make sense to engage on any of his videos anymore.  Nothing I'm saying is taken as truth and whenever I make a point it's met with "I can't take criticism".
