This is like the equivalent of having a few pages of a nationwide Sunday circular distributed to millions of people.

 

Big Europe announcement happening tomorrow as well.  Big press release in regards to distribution in Europe.

Hey Tommy!  I have two ideas that you NEED to implement!

1) Mic Drop Monday’s — every Monday leading up to the release of the Amico you announce your big mic drop announcements!!!

2) Founder’s Edition Friday’s — via email, send the people who preordered the Founders Edition a little piece of information, game play videos, or anything that you have not previously shared as a thank you for preordering.

Without our Amico's, it's one of the best games going.

Big press release coming tomorrow (in regards to European distribution) and then another big one next Monday about one of our "educational" partnerships. 

 

Tomorrow let say something about baseball with MLB ? (Edit ...  Can't work ...  it's for Europe ! )

Will certain retail versions of the Amico console come with a free physical game or free digital download code?  For example, once EWJ comes out, is there going to be a physical copy/digital download code included?

Wouldn't that be something?

That would be cool! Like a bonus pack-in. Or maybe marketed as an "EWJ Bundle" kind of thing.

How many colors for Amico will you make?  We know about the current 5.  You mentioned a pink one for girls and a 7th color that hasn't been revealed yet.  Just wondering what other colors are on your list?  If you decide to make a limited edition EWJ console, it should say Groovy every time you turn on the console.  Lol.

Nope, my guess is that Amico has been certified that no Koala Bears were hurt or endangered during its development. (Tommy being an animal lover, and all)

Just a comment on Lunar Lander.  The arcade game actually had four difficulty settings that increased the amount of simulation.  The default was pretty easy.  These settings might not be evident in MAME.  And the controls don't translate well to modern controllers.  It didn't have the soon to be standardized arcade formula of three lives either.  You wanted to play more, you put in more quarters. 

There's a lunar lander inspired android game called Lunar Mission.  It's well done, check it out, although it uses the endless levels and three star formula popular on mobile.  Not sure what the priority is for an Amico Lunar Lander or if they even intend to make games for all twelve Atari licenses.  I could see lots of multiplayer possibilities for this one.

When I first heard they were remaking these old titles I was expecting more new and less old, in terms of gameplay.  It's interesting to see how much of the old gameplay comes through in these new Amico versions.

People making games for consoles get away with depicting animations of girls that look less than 18 in sexually suggestive images because it can be claimed the girl that looks under 18 is actually meant to be 19 and there are guys out there that eat that up, which is why it's done. Kinda the whole idea behind products like "Barely Legal" except cartoons don't have legal ID requirements.

I don't know if anyone else in here is a fan of the show "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" but in their latest episode the theme was about the disappearance of professional sport due to COVID and as they do they brought up funny alternatives. One of which was this thing called Jelle's Marble Runs where marbles race around a track while a commentator gives you the rundown. They have made up teams and the teams and fans are nothing but marbles. Watch the LWT episode if you get a chance its pretty good but what you should really do here is check this thing out...

I just watched this for over and hour with my wife...we laughed our asses off, and are ordering t-shirts right after this. Now a question for @Tommy Tallarico...Tommy if there is a sport for Intellivision to support this is it! LOL but seriously as well...they do take sponsorships, and have now had major exposure from an HBO show...and hey they are marbles...how much can it be?!? The YouTube channel itself looks to have put on 200K subs since last Sunday's episode aired. Next thing...watch a couple of these eps and tell me if this doesn't need to be an Intellivision game. Give it a click folks its about 8 min long and we're glad we came across it
