Yes!  The event will be watchable after it's over right from our YouTube page.

 

You don't need to watch live to be a winner.  Just gotta sign up for the event BEFORE midnight, July 31st.  We will pick the winner on August 1st and reveal the winner during the August 4th Special Event.

That's great to hear Tommy.  Make it happen.  I was fine with it being 30 minutes but a longer event is better if done right.  Either way, I'm happy.  After the event is over and you post the video later to watch again, I'll be re-watching it many times as I'm sure most here will do.

So had my first Amico dream last night. Basically I get my console and I'm playing it, but instead of being at home I'm in some warehouse or store or something and there are a bunch of other people all playing Amicos. Then I look over to my left and I see Tommy so I walk over to congratulate him and he sees me and he's like "Mike! Great you could make it" and then goes in for the Italian double kiss on the cheeks. Then we're talking about the games and I'm telling him everything I like about them.

@Urlu Berlu Over here in germany since april in every shop and public buildings, trains, buses they are mandatory. When you go outside fe to a park or so then not. Still wondering that Intellivision doesn`t sell Covid 19 masks on their shop. Over here every radio station mostly every soccer club and mostly everybody selling masks today. Even the supermarkets... I would really love to have one with the Intellivision Man on it

I am really hoping for a confirmation of a 2020 launch at least for the FE. If not a confirmation of a delay with an updated launch day or window. 

10 days from now is the Amico event on 8/4.  Begin the countdown.  Cue the song, Final Countdown from the band Europe.

Hmm... that's a good question.

 

I would say giving a broad price range in the very first video we released a few years ago ($149 - $179).  Even though that was our initial intention and target price, the console was far from completed and going above that price has probably created a little bit of bad blood among some folks.  Should have waited another year to mention pricing.  The reason we mentioned a "range" so early is that we wanted people to understand this wasn't going to be priced like the big 3... or even priced like the AtariVCS... but we also wanted folks to know it wasn't a $99 Ouya or just some emulator box, etc.  Wanted to be in the middle.  And although we're at the upper end of "the middle", I think a bunch of people ended up disappointed as they thought they were going to get it at $149.  But once people see it, feel it and play it... they will quickly understand why it's not $149.  Especially with 2 separate controllers with touchscreens and a bunch of other cool tech AND 6 games.  The reality is (as many have heard me say before) the main people who will be purchasing the machine... don't even know we exist yet.... so good news there.  And we've done massive amounts of price testing with our retailers and our target audience... and once they find out about it, a $249 price tag doesn't turn them away in the least.  And after it's out and getting fantastic reviews and becomes successful... at $199 it will be even better!  That's the hope & dream anyway. 

 

Coronovirus has not affected any of the content in any of our games.  People want an escape from that... not a reminder.

Indeed. Coronavirus shouldn't permeate it way into game content, or in dreams for that matter.
