We originally planned for around 40 minutes.  Might be closer to an hour though as we are adding lots of cool stuff.  Starting to edit with my team this weekend.  I'm assuming it will be somewhere between 45 - 60 mins tops.

YESSSSSSSSS, I'm so happy! Give me that extra cool stuff!

I know this is off topic, but had to share.

Any day that starts with a cute girl flashing you is bound to be a good day.

Was walking the dog this morning and sure enough got flashed - she pulled her mask all the way down to her neck 😷😲

i'm so hyped for this reveal on the 4th that i'm planning on watching it on stream with my viewers over on twitch! the podcast i am a part of, the streamer talk podcast, actually did a segment on the amico last week as well, that episode is at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/683005431 timestamp 26:42

Very cool!   I appreciate your support!!!

I don't think your partner is convinced... but you're certainly trying!  :)

He is correct... it is harder for us than all the others... and that's why our success will be even sweeter.

:D

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts about our August 4th Special Event.  Thank you for helping us spread the word!

We're still very early on with baseball, but I gotta say... some of the most fun people have been having with Amico lately is Evel Knievel!  It's so fun!!

I watched your debate with the guy who wasn't convinced and... well, I'm sorry if it sounds rude, but your friend was here a perfect example of how people debate not to find the truth, but to justify their preconceived ideas.

Don't get me wrong, the guy seemed nice and all, but I felt it was impossible to remove the "Nintendo is already doing that" idea from his head. Even when you mentioned the huge number of mobile players Vs. the people who bought the Switch, he kept repeating how "everyone loves Nintendo".

Of course, it would really have helped for you to let him know that

1) The Amico only needs to sell about 200K to break even

2) The console, unlike Switch, will not allow violent or sexual content at all

3) Switch players are officially considered hardcore, so the Amico is not really competing with them either

The "I think it's a great idea but I don't think it's going to succeed" he says at the end is an opinion based on a few details that he just discovered about a product introduced to a market that he wasn't even aware it existed. Maybe I shouldn't get so deep with this, but sadly the world is becoming a worse place to live because of precisely this attitude: people refuse to think.

If only people were wise enough to understand that, in most cases, they just don't know enough about something.

thanks for that. we're a call in (via discord) talk show, and i brought this topic up because i think it'd be interesting to talk about. we will be discussing the presentation on the friday the week of the 4th. the guy who was on the air with us was a caller who was on all show that week, filling in for one of the hosts.

I would say giving a broad price range in the very first video we released a few years ago ($149 - $179).

The only mistake would have been to start ”cutting corners” to keep it within that early price estimate. All the amazing things that has been shown and revelad after that point has exceeded my expectations in every sense, so if that’s your biggest mistake, you don’t have much to worry about 😄

Thank you!  Appreciate that.

And you're correct, we always try to avoid cutting corners whenever possible.  We keep upgrading quality instead of going the other way.

Tommy,

Can the golden tickets that were used in the 7/15 contest be thrown away?

If you'd like.

I agree. I’m the type that would pay whatever the price to have the best product possible, but I understand that it has to be within reason to hit as broad a market as possible and I think IE has hit that balance of price and quality perfectly.

For a while there, I kept mine in my wallet as a visual aide when I'd be describing the controller at work. Now that I've run out of people to show, I believe it might be time to retire it to 'best bookmark ever'.

I preordered the VIP edition (249$ with 25$ credit for games), after that it has been revealed/confirmed about additional pack in games, double the internal storage (16gb to 32gb) and button attachments for phones (to use as additional controllers). All things I thought I would have had to pay extra for at the time of preorder, so for me personally, the only thing that has gone up since the first trailer is the value, not the cost.

This is exactly what I've been doing with the two I have. They make perfect bookmarks.  (do people still read books? I'm glad it's not just me)

I’ve put mine right under my main desktop PC so that I have it as a reminder daily of some cool shit that’s coming (hopefully) later this year!

Would you actually consider doing that to such a cool collectible item?

You can throw anything away that you want in life, but if you do sometimes all you are left with are regrets.

I would certainly much rather be left with my awesome card!😀👍

I can keep them.  But if you buy new stuff from the IE shop, you'll get another ticket.
