Oh wow thats probably the best I've seen they typically look really generic. Hats off to you sir

Thank you!  It was fun to show them here. I know it's not Amico related, but retro non-the-less.

And now back to your regular scheduled Amico discussions.  😁

The Switch just got a new arcade game from Konami called Lightning Fighters.  I played it and its a cool top down shooter.  It originally came out in 1990.  Also the game is known as Trigon.  Perhaps this game or something similar could end up on Amico.  One good thing about this game is that its not bullet hell.

OMG @CurlyQ you have outdone yourself with this one. I am not sure I got them all and I may marked some stuff that is real life. I didn't get all of the references but including Waldo was genius, thanks for the shout out, @Starpaddler got the Snafu ceiling, shifty eyed dealer, Sega, EWJ, Blue Sky Rangers, Doom, Nintendo, Rockstar - just so much awesomeness in one picture. Amazing work!

Interview with Sumeet Aggarwal Intellivision's Managing Director MENA & South Asia. Recorded Feb 2020 but just published last week (hence the E3 talk, unconfirmed pricing, etc ). Still interesting to hear from a regional Intellivision staffer:

So this guy mentions Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  Still negotiating with Nickelodeon?

I must confess I'm starting to enjoy the taste of Pat & Ian's tears.

Last week, it was pretty entertainment to watch them make up crazy excuses to hate the Amico: they counted how many licensed MLB games exist to try to make the license look like shit, they said Tommy was lying about using a real console and it was only an "Android emulator", and they even declared that the company "didn't have enough money to create the new games", totally clueless about the fact that each game costs 100K and Intellivison Entertainment has a budget of millions of dollars (they said the reason for the video was to raise more money to create the new games).

This week, they said the $150 for the Playdate, which is basically a Game Boy with a crank, is a perfectly fair price and they wouldn't be surprised if it would increase. Also, they said they like the Playdate because, unlike "other new consoles", it doesn't want to "disrupt the market" and "has real units to play from day one".

At this rate, we're going to needs tons of popcorn to watch them move the goalposts further and further away to justify their irrational hate for the Amico, which apparently started the moment Tommy tried to correct Pat's wrong information in his first video.

Sure... Both inside and outside?

I chose the SSVA because with the Ultimate PC interface installed, I could use the real controllers as the game should be played.

I'll take pics later.  Let me know what you want.   Probably should start new thread

Thanks! Anything you wanna post, I’d appreciate it! Yea don’t wanna highjack Tommy’s thread 🤣

IE should do a game based on Kaboom where you have to catch P&I tears in buckets instead of bombs.

Oh man that is hilarious. I remember my brother would try so hard to get 10,000 points to make the jailbird bomber have a surprised reaction! Maybe P&I reaction would be shock and have to shill for Amico 🤣

Yeah considering that interview was back in February it may have just been discussions & proposals. However he was very specific in how they might implement some features of a TMNT game. That would be a really nice add for Amico if it works out.

"Tears" may look as an exaggeration if you haven't watched the video, but check out the first link in my previous message. Pat is really nervous and angry when he brings up all the existing games using those licenses. Even Ian has to tell him to chill out a bit.

I came across this article.  Thought it was interesting & wanted to share.  I know it's not Amico related.

<rant>

The term "non-fungible-token" sounds like a disease and not a gaming boom. Even worse, if you look it up, it is still a disease in the gaming industry in my opinion. It is basically using blockchain technology to tie game elements to a person. It can be used for a wide variety of things - heck Intellivision could use the technology to tie games to individual machines too (more likely they would just use traditional digital signing technology however). BUT the 'gold rush' is trying to create a marketplace for player game items and such so they can sell them (the market taking a nice cut). Basically reselling loot boxes or creating 'pay to win' item marketplaces. Also everyone of these places use 'corporate speak' (or vomit speak as I like to refer to it) whenever they talk about stuff like this:

https://8hoursfoundation.org/#playtable

Quote

Multi-party Payments makes (MPP) it easy for sponsorship of new partners and gamers into the ecosystem and onboarding fans in the most user-friendly way possible. With MPP, players don't need a comprehensive understanding of how blockchain works in order to participate in transactions, because the foundation can fund the transaction payment on behalf of the player. Multi-Task Transactions (MTT) bring accessibility to developers and end-users for business context that’s not built on any other blockchain. The batching of transactions and increased contract flexibility helps to make financial operating costs transparent and predictable.

A gaming company just making a statement like this has 'onboarded' me into puking whenever I hear your company name - congratulations.

There was a game called Pepsiman on PS1.  It only released in Japan.  It would be funny if we did Coca-Cola Man as an Amico exclusive.

to be honest i think this varies a great deal among each title and can be considerably more.

I have, but not as fun as RBI or Baseball Stars. I remember when I first discovered you could climb the outfield wall and rob a homerun(baseball stars). Such a cool feature....

I've only played the Neo Geo Baseball Stars. Baseball Stars 2 is fantastic. Probably my fave BB game.

I've seen a few copies of it recently. It's getting expensive.

The day the amico hits the shelves is the day that their final self discredit takes its final form, and their own followers will desert them, leaving them with a empty husk, and a room full of shit they cant use anymore
