Tomorrow is another Amico video.  It's supposed to show all 6 pack in games according to what Tommy said in an interview with OEB Pete.

I know exciting.

Astrosmash and Snafoo were both confirmed and then changed later so I will be interested to see if they make it. From one of the last things mentioned I doubt Snafoo is.

Frog Bog has been mentioned in the past with Astrosmash in a either or sort of way. So right now we would have this.

1. Skiing

2. Cornhole

3. Astrosmash

4. Frog Bog?

5. Maybe an Edutainment game? or Back Talk Party

6. Guess would be a card/casino type game?

Right now that would make it one casual game (cornhole), one sport game (Skiing), two retro (or one maybe Astrosmash and Frog Bog). So that leaves Edutainment and board/card/dice games.

I think it's the Missile Command video.  It was delayed from yesterday.  Tommy said the video wasn't ready yet.

So the one for tomorrow is this one or in addition to this one?

I was under the impression that Missile Command is a separate video.  The one tomorrow is supposed to show all the pack in games.  But this could change.  Only time will tell.  I know Tommy likes to do surprises.

Yesterdays video will be today and feature the controller and Missile Command. Friday I think may just be an email sent out by Intellivision Entertainment with the announcement of the pack in games. I do think there will be more videos before the VIP preorder launch on the 31st.

Right.  The video from yesterday is today.  You're probably right about the video today showing the controller & Missile Command.  Maybe I'm wrong.  Because I thought the Missile Command video was separate from the controller video.  But anyway, the pack in games might just be an email and not a video.

I do wonder if there is going to be a noticeable latency difference between people using the Amico bluetooth controllers and those using their phones via wifi.  For something like a turn based board game this wouldn't be a problem, but anything where both would need to react at the same time I would think those using the BT controllers would have an unfair advantage.

I've wondered if there will be a difference too. In the Missile Command it didn't seem to be an issue but there was a TON of stuff going on the screen that it was frantic enough it probably wouldn't matter a tiny bit.

I have wondered why his interview monologues last 20 min but his trailers/demos are only like 3 min. Waiting for that 20 min demo on games and the controller.  😁

The games have to deliver big time to get people outside the INTV fanbase to pay that much for the Amico.

...

A lot of the people in the two Amico threads here aren't Intellivision fans.  Most of the atariage intellivision fans rarely comment in those two threads, and a lot of the users that do, don't comment in the intellivision threads.  Amico has licensed titles from the Atari 2600, arcade machines from various manufacturers and eras, home computers, Sega Genesis and snes.  They've already attracted people other than intellivision fans.  Retro titles will be a fraction of their game library.  I expect their marketing that begins later this year will focus on all the other types of games.

If it's Astrosmash or Frog Bog, how can they both be on this list.  In the other thread he said four of the five were old intellivision titles and three of them were in the gamescon trailer, but all that can change.  A party game and a card or dice game would make sense.

Maybe you can connect the phones through bluetooth.  You're not going to want to play most action games with a phone controller anyway.

It was earlier said either or just like Snafoo was originally an AA exclusive announcement as a pack in. So all of those earlier statements aren't necessarily accurate now.

So knowing it was a potential that's why I put it on the list. If 4 are old Intv games I would say....

Astrosmash, Frog Bog, Skiing, and Las Vegas Poker and Blackjack.

Skiing can fit in both retro and sports, same way Las Vegas can in retro and cards/dice.

If anyone cares I've added a bunch of links to reveal trailers in the first post. Been interesting watching some of the older ones.

I still think your pack-ins have to be your big-hitters, like a potential million seller. Conventional knowledge would say pre-crash retro, despite my affection for it, and it being updated, is not a million seller. I'm wondering if he may have a few different versions, some heavy on the re-imagined retro, some heavy on the super-charged mobile games and some heavy on the motion sports.

Maybe it was the growing up on Mario, but a fun platformer would be great. I would love to see them develop their IPs more. It won't happen overnight but something like a Mario, Sonic, Crash, or Spyro mascot would be cool.

Tommy has hinted that Sonic is actually happening on the Amico. Although I think you're talking about an Amico-exclusive mascot type thing, something like what those guys you mentioned were in the 80s and 90s.

Everytime someone mentions an Amico mascot I have this horrifying vision of a big headed Tommy character (like Wayne's World on SNES).

Its nightmarish and frightening.

It haunts my waking dreams.

Nooooooo

I'd still buy a game like that though
