I want all the Imagic games on Amico.  Lol.  But if I had to choose from the list of 3.  I would go in order of Microsurgeon, Demon Attack, then Beauty & the Beast.  Here's another list of games I'd like to see on Amico: Star Voyager, Solar Storm & Wing War.

I just noticed there's no countdown showing the amount of days until launch.  Not sure when you stopped doing that.  It was nice seeing how many days were left.  Maybe you can bring it back.  

 Here is the problem with Imagic games is that I like almost all of them. So whatever one I get first is fine by me! But if I had go with an order:

Demon Attack

MicroSurgeon

Beauty and the Beast

What are the chances that they will all be physical releases? (Fingers crossed about paying homage to the Imagic Packaging).

As a Bonus for the next round (in any order).

Dragon Fire

Cosmic Ark

I could name more on my want list of Imagic games. Just don't want to be greedy.

Still holding out hopes for some StarPath/Arcadia remakes.

My order would be :

1. Microsurgeon (same reasons you mentioned)

2. Beauty and the Beast (I owned both these 2 on the original Intellivision so interested to see how it looks)

3. Demon Attack

The fact you're mentioning these gets me REALLY excited that we'll see a sneak peak soon!

Chip supply looks to be worsening due to huge demand from all types of products.

For me, it's:

I love Demon Attack on the 2600, Intellivision, and TI 99/4A, so I'm a little biased.  Beauty and the Beast has a lot of gameplay potential as a modern Donkey Kong style game.  I own Microsurgeon, but I could never really get into it, but I know it is very popular.

Dragonfire is also still a popular game.  I've had young people gravitate towards that one.  It is unique and sort of a hidden gem.  Dracula could be fun as well.

We never owned a ton of the Imagic titles Demon Attack may have been the only one but seeing the game play for the games over the years I agree with your order for similar reasons

It's funny that in OG Intellivision favorite game order it would be Demon Attack, Beauty and the Beast and Microsurgeon. However for Amico games I am going the opposite: Microsurgeon (I can see a lot of coop game play opportunities and maybe even a little edutainment too), Beauty and the Beast (we don't have a platform progression game yet, ala Donkey Kong) and then Demon Attack (already a few space shooters for the Amico, although this one deserved the remake to get a great, extended Galaga type title to help round out that category).

From someone who has never played the original Intellivision:

1. Microsurgeon

2. Demon Attack

3. Beauty and the Beast

I don't think games such as Beauty and the Beast (which are basically Donkey Kong clones) are very interesting to do a remake. I guess you could create a cool co-op mode, but still...

But by mentioning these games, Tommy has activated my imagination. Here are two ideas for new games that maybe they can consider:

1) Make a Microsurgeon remake in a big way. Mix elements of Fantastic Voyage, both the 1966 movie and the 1985 ZX Spectrum/Amstrad CPC game. Make it educational and co-op. Do stages where you control the "astronauts" ("Jetpac" style) and others where you control the "ship". Have COVID-19 as the final boss (just kidding).

2) (Kind of a new idea that may work on the Amico) Do a co-op platformer where, instead of controlling the hero, you control the bad guys. Maybe the hero can be a robot and the bad guys humans to reduce perceived "violence"? But it would be more fun if it worked and looked very similar to a normal game, but controlling the enemies.

I stopped that last October, but I will bring it back.... just don't want to Jinx it

I liked a lot Microsurgeon and Demon Attack. I have never played Beauty and the Beast.

And I like what you are saying about Beauty and the beast, and having this kind of game for this generation would be really cool.

So,

All Imagic Games are special for me. The look, etc.

I'll say this as well.  This is how you will separate Amico from the other "couch" consoles.  Titles like this and Bomb Squad will show Amico is not just a retro console, or a quick hit game system.  It's a total system backed by a team that really knows how to challenge you.  Having a game library with games that are this complex and fun will certainly give Amico a serious side it needs to have.

 

Maybe add a little Moon Cresta or Astro Blaster to Demon Attack as well... where you can dock your ship to another section for more fire-power.   Many of the vertical style space shooters of the 90's similar to  Raiden and the like used floating power-ups.  But you have that already with Astrosmash.  Something different would be good here.

 

Was never a fan of Beauty and the Beast, reminded me of a Donkey Kong/Crazy Climber mash-up.  Definitely curious to see what you're going to do with this title.

Selfishly I want Demon Attack first but this response I absolutely agree with. I can wait for it if it means differentiating a bit from Astrosmash and the like
