And I have a question about the next screen from this same game.

I think we have to be realistic that with this kind of game it will be difficult to translate for other countries !?

 

Exemple, the first picture is a Rat !  ( Same thing in french, so for this one no problem. )

But for the second picture, we have to find the letters A T. In english no problem with a Hat, but in french it's "chapeau". Nothing to help.

So Tommy, can you confirm that worldwide, to play this game we will have to think in English !? 🙄

It's not really about finding letters.  It's about the picture association.  You're given a hint at the beginning (animated movie).  Think group charades with emojis. 

And yes... not only does it let you take pics from your camera phone for your avatar... but it also utilizes GIF's for the celebrations (not shown in the video).

It's a super amazing fun party game that is really unique because you need a screen controller connected to play.

I've heard this consoles name mispronounced so many times in the last couple months I forgot the "i" is the "ee" sound. LOL. Fantastic looking games and great additions to the ones seen before. Evel Knievel was a pleasant shock! Praise for all of them.

Loved the video and all the games shown.  Looking forward to seeing more sports games in the future.  I thought skiing was the highlight of the video, it looks fantastic.  I thought Cloudy Mountain looked good too. I'm not very familiar with the original game but had Gateway to Apshai on the Colecovision and this feels like that X 100! 

I imagine there's more surprises coming, not every gem has been shown but I'm extremely pleased with the progress of everything.  Come on October!

Might be more comparable to Alcazar the Forgotten Fortess.  It's the same developer/programmer as Intellivision AD&D.

Yeah, I should have said "sound" or "pronunciation". But in French, Italian or Spanish, I don't think it will work unless the picture or the word is different !

I think probably it will be too many extra hours to produce a different game for each country . Anyway, I was just curious.

We are used to having to manage in English because some movies are never translated. It's just my kid who don't talk or understand English, but it will come !

In the meantime, he will have several other games that he can have fun ! 😉

Looks to me that this game could easily be translated to different languages, the pictures don't need translation. I haven't seen the movie, so not sure of the connection with the fried egg and noodles.

How are the player answers inputted?  Type-in; voice recognition?

I think you may have misunderstood Tommy’s explanation (or maybe I have). Ratatouille is a movie about a rat that is a chef - the game screen shows a rat and then a chef and then a couple of foods before someone guesses the answer. Another example might be 🦘🔪 - I am trying to get you to guess the movie Crocodile Dundee (if you haven’t seen it there is an Australian with a giant knife in the movie).

Yeah, you are probably right.

But take the movie "Frozen", for us in french it's "La reine des neiges".

So did the game will understand that Frozen and La reine des neiges could be 2 good answers !?

EDIT : Will it use Microphone or entering letters. Lots of things we don't know yet ! Thanks to you GrudgeQ and mr_me.

If the movie is titled Snow Queen in French, then you would pick pictures of Snow and Queens.

If it's titled Frozen in America, you would pick pictures of ice cubes or cold things.

Yep! Me, BT & Armin Van Buuren.  The credits are in the video description.  It was from BT's album Electronic Opus which I produced with him.  It's an INCREDIBLE album!  One of the favorites I've ever worked on.

Correct!  Nothing to do with how the words are said.  It's about the images and association.

To give you a little more info...

It doesn't matter what the movie or subject is called. 

For example... if the category was ANIMATED MOVIE and I picked these things to go on screen....

Of course you would guess "Frozen"... OR... whatever the heck anyone called it in their language.

The team leaders with the controls decides if the players/teams got it right on not (as they are the only one with the answers on their controllers).

It really is a game for everyone than ANYONE can play.  You don't even need to pick up a controller!  Grandpa can just sit on the couch and yell out answers and look like a superstar to all his gaming grandkids.

THIS is the type of stuff that we will be marketing and selling to the masses.  And we got a LOT of them that we haven't announced or shown.
