The console has the power button, and the controller has the buttons and the disk assembly. Other than that, there's not much that can mechanically fail. 🙂  We're currently working on some mechanical stress testing to cycle the controller buttons and the disk assembly to the point of failure. The buttons are rated for a million cycles, and the disk is a unique enough design that it shouldn't have any failure mode at all.

This is why it's so great to have @RxScram is here!  He knows a lot of the answers to the hardware related stuff.

Yeah... I was gonna post something about that a few weeks ago when someone showed me that.  Didn't want to beat them up though.  They do a good job of that all by themselves unfortunately.

Is he really?  I knew I liked him for a reason.  AND he worked for NASA?  IE is practically Apollo 12 (first all Navy Apollo crew) and you can see the Apollo 12 command module in Hampton, VA

And speaking of Hampton/Newport News, that sounds incredible. I was actually wanting to go to the show in Raleigh, but events go in the way. I will definitely look into getting tickets when it gets rescheduled.  I'd love to meet you someday and say thanks for all that you've done.

The Virginia Symphony was supposed to do the music of Star Wars in early June, but I have a feeling that is going to be postponed as well.

Kinda, the money I had saved for a PS5 and XOSX.... that money is enough to by 5 or a 6th   I got plans for them all, secret plans, happy plans.
