As it so happens, yes...

that was a running gag that spun off of the work joke and became a recurring NPC in D&D campaigns.

Seeing the uninvited party loitering on a patch of grass lovingly seeded and groomed just eight years before, Eldor the Wrinkled frowned.  Knowing this little party of skirmishing teens were probably just scouting the perimeter, looking for a weakness and more would surely follow if he didn't act, he knew what must be done.  Eldor cast a +5 protective spell of Curmudgeoning, first summoning a harrumph familiar of the invisible type.  They appeared unphased.  He'd have to conjure up something stronger.  He heaved a heavy sigh and unleashed his specialty move: shaken head of disapproval.  The party seemed unmoved - must have some sort of protective spell of teenage indifference.  So, armed in his wife beater (+2 repel, +3 antiquity bonus) and stretch-band khakis of immeasurable comfort (+7 patch of reinforcement, -1 indeterminate last-wash/skidmark), he held aloft his casting arm, and under his breath cast Lawn Banishment.

Within five minutes of the call, Daryl from the Home Owners Association arrived in his golf cart to escort the party back to the nether regions from whence they came.  The day was saved.  Eldor earned +15 experience and 2 neighborhood watch points.

I just want you to know I've been helping a friend with magic items for a campaign he's been running through Facetime.

I'll be stealing the khakis. You'll be sure to get full credit!

Hey had a question.  Wasn't Metal Jesus at the Portland expo you showcased the Amico?  Did he try it out? What was his response if did? Seems like a missed opportunity for MJ if he didn't.

Not to steer it back to negativity, but... Just wanted to post up some more fun stats...

image.thumb.png.df96446a1b1574a3e613f5d724a31796.png

These guys are just driving themselves into a pit. Total stagnation. Stuck at 242k subs, with less and less video views every month.

They also lose 1,000 subs and gain 1,000 subs frequently.

Guess when their latest drop in subs occurred?

Last week.

Considering the world is stuck at home, mindlessly searching for entertainment...this is not good.  No wonder they are in panic mode.

He saw it with John Riggs at E3 last year.  They both appeared in our 2019 YouTuber/Influencer round up video talking about it.

Actually... it's a little confusing so I just want to set the record straight to make sure "certain folks" try not to cry foul and paint us as doing anything sketchy.  I mean they still don't care about facts and will lie anyway... but at least we can ALWAYS go on record as saying we have ALWAYS been up front with every aspect.   :)

Folks may also notice that the number of pre-orders at $100 each don't add up to the total number listed.  There is a reason for that as well.

For various reasons, we needed to include the previous VIP pre-orders in with this VIP pre-order.  Both from a legal and transparency standpoint (and quite frankly... bragging rights too!)  :)

But I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression and think that this number is IN ADDITION to what we have already stated.  That is not the case.  This is just the total number of VIP Pre-Orders.

If you add up $100 for each pre-order you'll also notice that the number wouldn't match the total so far (it would be much less).  The reason for that is because people have already been requesting and investing money into Amico (through FIG/Republic) on top of the pre-orders so the total number is a combination of previous pre-orders, new pre-orders and investment capital raised through the FIG/Republic platform.  All with ZERO advertising.  FIG/Republic will start to advertise the pre-order and investment opportunity in the coming weeks.  This is just one of the many reasons we wanted to partner with them for our pre-orders (this plan has been in the works since February).  They are one of our big investment outlets which will be bringing in millions of investment dollars over the next 30 - 60 days through various portals.

Hope that helps to give additional info.

Also... I can NOT legally tell any of you or give anyone "advice" on whether or not I think Amico is a good investment.  I am saying this now because I prefer not to answer any investment related questions at all as it would put myself and the company at risk... especially in a public forum.  I am officially on record as saying this.  Hope you will all appreciate, respect, honor and understand that.

Thanks!

If you really want to have some MATH FUN (I know @Blarneo does!) If you take the current 12,700 pre-orders and want to calculate the total GROSS on those numbers (by taking the average price of say $265... because the majority are Vintage Woodgrain at $279) you'll come up with about $3.4 million dollars in future gross revenue.  Not bad for spending ZERO money on advertising... OH!!! AND DID I MENTION.... more than the Atari Indiegogo campaign.

🕹️💥🔫

😂

Makes a lot of sense

The other day I seen.on fig you had like maybe 63 pre orders and 43k funds raised.

I didnt think about you having toadd the numbers for all preorders so far .   Still good numbers and being on a more visible platform will do wonders.

No please!!! Dont stop work on a cartridge adapter.  That would be the best thing ever !!!😲

Intellivision games through the Amico on my big screen would be amazing!👍

Or, go the other way and make BT original design controllers for Amico; or for a more economical direction, make USB adaptors and rerelease the flashback controllers when you re-release the original games (re-release sounds so awesome here).

Did you ever go to the Eastern States Expo Center when they turned it into the BIG E once a year!  (i.e. the state fair).

Nope, never went for that.  Heck, I’ve never even been to a NY state fair! Is that when they do the big equestrian show?  My one daughter is into horses and went to that show.   She was on the equestrian team in college.  She did very well considering she never rode English until she joined the team her freshman year.  All the other riders had been riding since grade school.

Poor @Blarneo, I just imagine him after years of therapy finally overcoming his crushing childhood disappointment of the Math Fun incident - then he checks Atari Age and is back to square one.

Just wanted to correct, there still are Friendly's in NY.  None in the vicinity of Newburgh, and the number was about five times what it is now, back in 2008 before a major round of closings with the last Recession.  But we have plenty here around NYC and LI, north of Albany and in Central NY/Finger Lakes and the Southern Tier.

Wow, I thought they all closed up in NY.  I guess a quick Google search would have revealed that they didn’t all close!  For me the closest one would be the Albany area, about an hour fifteen away.  I don’t actually live in Newburgh, I’m about 15 miles north across the river from Poughkeepsie.  Back in the 80s/90s there were probably 5 in that 15 mile radius.

I wonder if they still have the Jim Dandy!  (It's like their banana split thingy).

And did you guys ever remember that during the summer time they would do those sherbert watermelons???  It was green on the outside (lime I'm presuming) and raspberry on the inside... but with chocolate chips to represent the "pits/seeds".

Yup, remember that watermelon!  As someone already posted, Jim Dandy is still in existence.  For me it was the Reeses peanut butter cup Sunday.

Don’t laugh, but I actually have one of those in my basement! I didn’t buy it directly, it was in the current house I’m in when we bought it.  Being the pack rat that I am I couldn’t bring myself to throw it out.  I just thought it was funny that someone actually bought it.  Now I’ve never used it (that would be pretty gross) but my wife keeps threatening to use it on me if I don’t stop complaining about how long my hair is getting!

How about others here??  Tell us the significance of your name you use in AA.

Mine is musical in nature.  Back in the 80s I was into Aldo Nova.  The first time I saw him live was in 1982 as the opener for Blue Oyster Cult (one of my all time favorites) at Music Mountain in Fallsburgh, NY.  Well of course concert t-shirts were bought and worn to school the next day.  A few of my friends started calling me Saldo,  (pronounced Sal-doe, not Sal-do) a blend of Sal, my name and Aldo from wearing that concert T all the time.  I liked it and it stuck for an online handle.
