It's a valid concern and one we're aware of.  But don't worry, once you play a game like Night Stalker you won't be thinking that at all.   :)

O i believe you. But the problem is that night stalker is only one game on the system. hopefully they'll be more like it. And again... i realize that someone like me isn't apart of your target audience. And that's cool... i totally get it... that's not where the money trail lies. i'm just saying that in your desire to ingratiate yourself to the herd with simple and approachable content, please don't forget about that select group of us that prefer to be challenged without being pampered.  🙂

Not to steer it back to negativity, but... Just wanted to post up some more fun stats...

These guys are just driving themselves into a pit. Total stagnation. Stuck at 242k subs, with less and less video views every month.

They also lose 1,000 subs and gain 1,000 subs frequently.

Guess when their latest drop in subs occurred?

Last week.

image.png.1847f34dd2b6062e7cfaad1cb70d1701.png

I wonder how many of those subs were "bought"?.

Seems strange that their actual video views are so low compared to their alleged subscribers.  But I don't know what a normal watch rate is for folks typically is so I'm out of my league on that kind of stuff.

I just know that we only have around 7,500 subscribers and pretty much beat their average views already.

Which kinda doesn't make sense considering Pat publicly declares and brags that he's more famous on the internet than I am.

:)

Totally!

Night Stalker was only one example.  A few others (currently scheduled for launch) would be Asteroids, Astrosmash, Moon Patrol, Armor Battle, Missile Command, Bi-Planes and most of the pro sports games.

I find it curious that the best selling game (in the US) for March 2020 is a family friendly game that appeals to a wide audience and has "mobile" level graphics...

Especially considering those were ONLY console numbers and not mobile!

:)

In about 5 months from now your going to remember this day.

🥰

You say I'll remember this day, but I only realized it was Tuesday five minutes ago, looking at the menu on the fridge and realizing it was not Monday.. I'm still coming to terms.

According to the little lines notched into the wall, it's day 35 after the 'pocalypse.  35 days since stepping outside beyond our little garden.  They all bleed into each other 😕

But nobody plays mobile. It's just a time waster. People want better graphics, faster frame rates. Literally nobody will buy "family friendly" games...

3 of them are in production and will be available on launch.

2 of them are on the list for 2021 releases.

Venture we currently don't have, but agree it is an epic game.

:)

I played the crap out of Venture on my Colecovision !!!!! Love to see that one day 😀

It would be fine either way. Just to keep track of everything I'd leave it on the console. There are 2 independent safety circuits built into the controller and also the battery itself to prevent overcharging or other safety issues.

Fantastic! Thank you.

There's no 'Atomic' in that description!

Hahahha!!  That's awesome!  Your wife clearly has good taste!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!   So check this out... on that link you sent there was a tab to WHERE TO BUY so just for the hell of it I clicked it and put in my zip code.

Come to find out that there are 8 places around me that allegedly sell the "Wattamelon Roll!"  Target & Walmart carry them I guess!!!

Will need to be checking back in the summer about this!

Yes, I did the same zip code check. Lots more hits in the Cleveland west side hometown, but here in Houston it looks like Walmart has them. I've never seen it there...maybe need to ask ahead of time.

Joking aside, I believe they are going to call it Snafoo, for family friendly reasons.

A random thought, but one that popped back in the empty space between the ears reading this:

Does anyone else absolutely HATE when places play 'Monday, Monday' or 'Manic Monday' on a Tuesday? The store I work at does this constantly.

Makes the week feel SOOO much longer for 2 1/2 minutes...

Mine's simply a work joke that's gotten out of hand.

I've worked at the same grocery store since 2006. Worn a lot of hats, currently managing the dairy.

Sadly, rate of turnover has always been on the high side, so there's only a handful of people (aside from upper management and the owner) who've been there as long.

One day, we were playing the 'guess my age' game. Mine's notoriously difficult, as I tend not to bring up my age in conversation.

Still, I wasn't expecting everyone to guess over (my favorite was a cashier who'd prematurely aged me an additional 11 years! Guess I'm aging SUPER well...)

Of course, I chuckled. The 'old guy' jokes have stuck ever since, which I personally don't mind.

Soooooo i just looked at the fig page for amico.   They raised over a million  from investors..  but also pre orders are doing good nearly 13k.   So between these the founders edition and the 10k.plus vip from.the Intellivision  website . They are over 25k.pre orders possibly 30k as tommy never gave exact on the pre sale of last VIP run just stated over 10k like a week before stopping.   It's safe to say over 25k at min...

But prob hearing 30k.

So much for only going to sell 5k.

As it so happens, yes...

that was a running gag that spun off of the work joke and became a recurring NPC in D&D campaigns.

Actually this is something I've been... not exactly concerned with but still concerned with. Does that make any sense? I'm not sure if it does, but maybe you'll understand what I mean. Good to see that someone addressed it, and that you've been working on it. I'll gladly playtest stuff for you, of course.

Yeah, I guess this is the type of thing that people mean when they say you want a real Vectrex and not an emulator if possible, and also what I would hope to be addressed in a new Vectrex.

I've heard the screens die on them. I wonder how long it will be before the last one dies and we won't be able to fix it because the parts needed would be gone as well. I don't know a whole lot about the Vectrex, though. The Genesis and to an extent the PC Engine (not really the SuperGrafx yet, though) I can tell you a whole lot about, but the Vectrex is not something I'm really knowledgeable about. I do know that the thing is decently large because of the screen, which likes to die, and that's about it aside from the general information that an internet search can tell you. Reading about hardware and actually having the real thing in your hands to use are completely different. Still, these would be welcome upgrades to the Vectrex, especially the color screen. I've been seriously considering buying a Vectrex for a few months now, and so far the price and fragility have been major deciding factors in my not purchasing one yet.

I dont know if the screens actually die that often. They do tend to suffer from bad capacitors like all electronics and you start noticing then getting dim. I have one thats never been recapped and its solid and bright. Ive seen several others and all work great.

Actually... it's a little confusing so I just want to set the record straight to make sure "certain folks" try not to cry foul and paint us as doing anything sketchy.  I mean they still don't care about facts and will lie anyway... but at least we can ALWAYS go on record as saying we have ALWAYS been up front with every aspect.   :)

Folks may also notice that the number of pre-orders at $100 each don't add up to the total number listed.  There is a reason for that as well.

For various reasons, we needed to include the previous VIP pre-orders in with this VIP pre-order.  Both from a legal and transparency standpoint (and quite frankly... bragging rights too!)  :)

But I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression and think that this number is IN ADDITION to what we have already stated.  That is not the case.  This is just the total number of VIP Pre-Orders.

If you add up $100 for each pre-order you'll also notice that the number wouldn't match the total so far (it would be much less).  The reason for that is because people have already been requesting and investing money into Amico (through FIG/Republic) on top of the pre-orders so the total number is a combination of previous pre-orders, new pre-orders and investment capital raised through the FIG/Republic platform.  All with ZERO advertising.  FIG/Republic will start to advertise the pre-order and investment opportunity in the coming weeks.  This is just one of the many reasons we wanted to partner with them for our pre-orders (this plan has been in the works since February).  They are one of our big investment outlets which will be bringing in millions of investment dollars over the next 30 - 60 days through various portals.

Hope that helps to give additional info.

Also... I can NOT legally tell any of you or give anyone "advice" on whether or not I think Amico is a good investment.  I am saying this now because I prefer not to answer any investment related questions at all as it would put myself and the company at risk... especially in a public forum.  I am officially on record as saying this.  Hope you will all appreciate, respect, honor and understand that.

Thanks!

If you really want to have some MATH FUN (I know @Blarneo does!) If you take the current 12,700 pre-orders and want to calculate the total GROSS on those numbers (by taking the average price of say $265... because the majority are Vintage Woodgrain at $279) you'll come up with about $3.4 million dollars in future gross revenue.  Not bad for spending ZERO money on advertising... OH!!! AND DID I MENTION.... more than the Atari Indiegogo campaign.
