My friend Richard Taylor was the Visual FX supervisor for the original TRON movie!

He just sent me this and I know we have a lot of TRON fans here (and we were just talking about it) so I wanted to share.  Great stuff!!

None of us on the team doubt our abilities and passion to make Amico amazing. 

We WILL make it to the top of mountain.  And even though we're not exactly sure how and when we might get there... we know that we'll never give up until we do!

Hard to say if it will be good or bad launching in 2020.  Everything is still in flux with the world and the economy.  Taking a "walk before you run" type of approach isn't a bad thing for us.  We don't need to put out a million units in the first month in order to be successful and to sustain Amico moving forward.  Remember we only need less than 200,000 units sold to be profitable over the lifetime of the product!  So even if we are forced to do a "soft launch" by the end of this year (or even in Q1 of 2021) we still have a great future runway for success and lots of time to get there.

I keep forgetting about the 200K mark..  You are already a decent amount there. And that is with just preorders.   If math serves me correct. You are over 5% there already. Prior to any marketing.

Speaking for myself here. If it comes down to it. As much as I want you to hit the 10/10 mark, if it comes down to it, I'd rather wait and get a better quality product. I'm sure that will fuel the Nay Sayers. But that is OK. I'm sure that you will have a very good reason and you will communicate it. If we end up with a better system overall, no arguments  from me. 

Hey guys, maybe the Sega announcement is a theme park to leverage Sonic's popularity and relaunch the brand.

Haunted house themed as Cloudy Mountain with giant snakes, dragons, etc. Gotta have their sounds audible when you get in proximity. 

Astrosmash shooting gallery

Deadly Discs laser tag. 

Bump n Jump bumper cars ... don't know how you'd incorporate jump but you could keep score of bumps into walls, etc like when you destroy a vehicle in the game. 

I think this concept has a lot of great potential ideas!

Yeah... we're looking really great and ahead of all previous sales/pre-sale/purchase order expectations. 

If we need to slide the launch because of circumstances out of our control... yes... you're absolutely correct, we would communicate openly and precisely as we've always done about everything and normal people would get it.
 

At this point... I care nothing about what the naysayers say.  I did before... tried to respectfully give them more info.  But as we all know, they end up being mostly lost causes who just move goalposts and lying once you prove everything they said incorrect or (GOD FORBID!) have a different opinion.  So I'm pretty much done with that group.  They mean nothing to Amico's success.  Let them rip all they want.  In the end... they'll be the ones looking like the clowns.  Not us.

Frankly, most lines at amusement parks resemble Snafu, but if we can gamify it a bit more, maybe standing in line could be more entertaining.

Perhaps if another line crashes into your line, they’ll have to leave the park. (Think that idea needs work, but it’s a start.)
