I'm not too keen on the onscreen controls with my phone.  I played it but it's frustrating when jump and shoot are so close together and I have fat fingers. 🙂  Looking forward to seeing some game demos today...i'm getting exicted

Same I can’t master the jump and fire on the phone..fat finger syndrome 😆 

Can’t wait to play it on the Amico controller.

Graphics are much better on this build!

Oh that one is fun. 🤥  In later videos you get full tasting critiques and recommendations.  Sooo, educational?  It quickly goes into rambling afterward but, hey, something for everyone.

Thanks for letting me know about being able to rewatch on YouTube . I will definitely start with that before coming back here later today. You have a good point, I would rather watch it myself first vs. seeing all the spoilers here now that you mention it.

Thank you for being so Transparent. I'm sure we'll know what the big reveal will be. We'll also agree that the day wait was worth it. It would have been very easy to just "blame" the awful storm yesterday for the delay (so many people lost power on the east coast).  We even had people e-mailing us in the morning from their phones because their power was out and asking if it was going to be re-posted on YouTube after the Live showing (which it is!).  But when you have nothing to hide and are doing things for all the right reasons... being up front and honest is always the best way to go.  when you have nothing to hide... you don't need to hide!  We've done this from the very start.  And although some things may change or need to be adjusted along the journey (which the weak-minded try to use against us and say we "lied"), as long as we are always true to ourselves and the vision and the goal... then there is never a reason to do or say anything that isn't true or the real reason.

Can't wait for you to see the event today!!!!!   Looking forward to your response.

Yes!  Great news indeed! 

Now, imagine you put a real controller in her hand and then put it on a TV with family watching then throw in the ability to play both co-op together or versus against each other...

It will get her interest even more!

 

I understand not wanting to launch before Christmas if they are missing the 10/10 date with PS5 and Xbox coming at the time, but April is a much longer delay that I hoped for if that is the case. No comments from Tommy on the subject so I am thinking it might be the case. Oh well, if that’s the date then “it is what it is” !! I just want my FE so badly !!!!

Try to switch to the other control mode (you can switch at ANY time by hitting the middle section of the screen.  That then uses the tilt controls on the phone but separates the fire & jump to a much bigger area on the phone.

You need to cleanse your palette by watching @OEB_Pete videos.  He'll get ya humming "Have an Amico Day!" in no time.

Thanks I’ll try that! I am the occasional mobile gamer, so I didn’t even pay attention to the controls and how you could modify them..only mobile game I played with any regularity was Angry Birds. 😁

I am pretty excited for this. I ordered VIP edition back in March. I got my 6 year old playing Sea Battle with me a few weeks ago and he was very into it as well as Space Armada and Boxing. I'm hoping for a similar experience with this. Being able to play together is a big factor for me now in choosing a console especially since he likes playing games that we can do cooperatively.
