I have a feeling that once you play it, Blank Slate might move up your list quite a bit. It's a really fun game and the version on Amico looks fantastic.

Blank Slate is something I’m now really excited about. It’s the perfect family game for my house. It’ll certainly be one of the first purchases I make assuming it’s not delayed for some reason.

Here is my top 30 games from the last gameplay trailer !

It was very difficult to decide between several titles. Obviously some games that are far down the rankings could easily reach the top 10 when I will play them.

It is not surprising to find at the end of the ranking the games for very young children (mine will be 9 years old) and some games that I do not know.

Then of course what kind of game do I want to play on a day, whether I'm alone, with family or friends will change that !

Regarding Moon Patrol, it has already been in my top 3, but playing on mobile has temporarily dropped it (Hard to control), but I know it will quickly regain its place towards the top! :)

In my top 10, I imagine myself playing these games with my son and his friends.

Dynablaster is quite far away, I played Bomberman so much. It was my game to play with friends about twenty years ago! Still looking forward to giving it a chance.

I know too little about Finigan Fox to put it higher, but I really like platform games. So as of today, here are my top 30!

In Bold are games we know for sure that will come with the system.

30- Care Bears

29- Sesame Street

28- Blank State

27- Emoji Charades

26- Pool

25- Liars Dice

24- Rigid Force Redux Enhanced
23- Finigan Fox

22- Dynablaster
21- Biplanes

20- Battle Tanks

19- Corn Hole

18- Missile Command

17- Back Talk Party

16- Brain Duel

15- Farkle

14- Spades

13- Pong

12- Side Swipers

11- Breakout

10-Nitro Derby

9- Evel Knievel

8- Shark Shark!

7- Major League Baseball

6- Moon Patrol

5- Snafoo

4- Cloudy Mountain

3- Astrosmash

2- Skiing

1- Night Stalker

The 5 games included with the system are in the top 20, and 2 are on the top 3 !
That's really cool to know that some of the great games will be included !

I love the atmosphere and the music of Night Stalker. It will be exciting, stressful and fun !

I hope the Soundtrack will come with the physical game ! :)

Skiing, that should be really fun with the disc pad ! I like the animations and all the surprises that they put in the game !

(Who knows if the skier when he fall in a certain mountain could roll and become a giant snow ball ! lol)

Everything is possible with IE. Did you hear there is a Yeti !?  :)

Astrosmash ...  I played and played ...  Now with beautiful scenery instead of a simple change of color, multiplayer, with Bosses ! ( AND MUSIC !!!)
How can you not make the top 3 !

When I was young, I wrote every minutes I played for everygame. And at the end of the month there was a ranking.

You can bet I will do that with Amico and a ranking for each week ! 😀

Today we are at exactly 6 months away from April 15 ! 👍

I agree with your top 5 !!!! Same but I might add bi planes in there !! I’ll buy them all anyway 😁

The way Pat says "nobody liked the original Intellivision controller", "nobody wants the Amico lights", "nobody wants the Amico" is sad.

I noticed he uses some technique I know from some political star commentators where he just wants to sound cool, even if what he says are lies. He uses a cool sounding voice, he knows he has that. And Ian is clearly his biggest fan (I know this because I've had friendships like this, where one is the star and the other the "fan").

It's good to know that the new goalposts are "the price is too high" and "some games are not totally exclusive". Once the console releases in April and sells around 100,000 units, that's a major blow for the haters who said that was never going to happen (and they will feel it, even if they won't admit it!).

Here is how I look at it - when the Amico comes out and proves itself to be successful, we will all be able to look back and feel like we were apart of the development and something unique and special; they will look back and have no legitimate feeling other than they were wrong (but yet, they will never feel that, but again, “legitimate”...)

😎 Pat has proven he has too much ego, he does not seem to be the slightest bit aware of Tommy's contributions in gaming and music soundtracks etc because he is self absorbed. This is not his first bad take but he always doubles down on his bad takes. In past he has insulted gamers as well as his audience. This is what I observed over time and the more I observed the less I like Pat. Him and Ian circle jerk each other all through a podcast, he does little research and then runs with whatever he takes away and is never willing to listen to reason or even consider he might have gotten something wrong and now with him and Tommy you know it is personal, this is why even positive news or misinformation about the Amico does not matter to him, he will still ridicule it. Everytime I see mention of AMICO in a Pat and Ian video I instinctively think "Ah damn HERE WE GO" because I KNOW he will not be objective or fair (why start now?) In short, fuck Pat and his legion of sheep.

Have you played the original biplanes in Triple Action?  If not, think this is likely to end up in your top 5.  Other than this one, and a couple of others, our lists are pretty similar.

2 random things for Tommy: first, I found the name of your yellow thing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turnir_(console)

Second, will there be an activity log on the Amico, kind of like on the 3DS? I'm mostly asking because sometimes I feel too lazy to track how long I play each game day week for the weekly time tracking threads here and just going to the system's log to check how many minutes I played what games on what days, but apparently people actually liked the 3DS activity log and are/were disappointed by the Switch's thing which just gives you a vague number instead of something definite.

I don't think anyone would be exceptionally disappointed if you don't have one, especially since the only systems that I can think of that actually have something like that are the 3DS and I think maybe the Wii U, but it would be interesting to have it.

Tommy,

That was a good show last night with Next Level Gaming.  You said something about a medieval knight fighting game because people would think armor battle meant knights in armor.  But the idea of a knight fighting game sounds cool.  That should be on Amico.  Why didn't I think of this?  Lol.

Quick question. Will we see the physical media used in GameStop? I imagine this would be similar to the Amibos and Skylanders. Those flooded GameStop. It appeared that the physical device is more like a token to trigger a download.

Yep!!  We'll be at retail at Gamestop at launch... which will include our physical media.

Tommy,

You have the Data East license.  Will this game be in the list for Amico?

Interesting.  Never played this one.  Will need to check it out on my Mame cabinet this weekend.

Whoops!  Did I say that out loud??

Would probably be a little too violent.

Yeah!  So cool!  Someone sent me that through the comments section on YouTube.  Very cool!  Such a neat console.

No, we currently do not have any kind of activity log for our games.

It could be a cartoon style game without violence.  Maybe the knights just clash their swords and you have to be the last one standing before the timer is up.  There doesn't need to be any combat involving the character being hit.  Of course that would be more fun.  Some possible titles for the game: Knight Clash or Knight Strike.

My favorite video game of all time was released 30 years ago. To commemorate that, a small English youtuber has created this awesome video:

Since Tommy is now helping create multiple original games, maybe he can take some inspiration from these guys.

According to the video, they weren't planning to do a classic video game: just a good one, because that was fun for them.

Interestingly, the graphic artists found the pixel art a huge limitation that they needed to overcome and mask with realistic approaches, as they were used to drawing without pixels (even if the guy who made most of the graphics ran out of clients in the late 90s when 2D graphics stopped being the norm!).

Finally, it appears everyone who worked in the game had a say in puzzles, graphics and dialogs. The game was created in George Lucas's Skywalker Ranch and there was no pressure, so there was a positive and creative atmosphere among the team.

Check out our Video Games Live arrangement of Monkey Island.

What's special about this particular performance is that the original LucasArts composers (Michael Land, Peter McConnell and Clint Bajakian) are performing with the San Francisco Symphony at Davies Hall.  We did 2 SOLD OUT shows!  They've also performed with me at the Hollywood Bowl and Red Rocks in Colorado.  Great guys, great friends... and GREAT musicians!

I hired those guys to work on all the Bard's Tale music with me.  We had such a great time writing and recording all that music.

Their recent diatribe of lies and misinformation has ended up creating more negative videos towards them then it does us at this point.

It's plain for any reasonable person to see that their only goal is to try and destroy us and the Intellivision brand.  A small video game console company whose only goal is to bring back retro style gameplay and bring people together no matter what their skill level to enjoy gaming together.  Shame on them.  They are an insult to the retro community and are losing many past followers as they dig themselves deeper into their well of fraudulent and disgusting behavior.  Ego doesn't even begin to describe it.  He's a real jerk in person as well.  The 2 times I met him he was completely dismissive and acted like I should kiss his ring.  So if you think he's awful in his videos... it isn't an act, he's like that in real life as well.  Tons of people have told me similar stories.  He thinks he's better than everyone else.  And just remember... he likes to declare publicly that he's more famous than I am.  What kind of person even mutters garbage like that?  Probably a very insecure, immature one.  You know, the type that sits in front of his Cabbage Patch dolls and stuffed animals and tries to destroy things and make fun of things in order to earn money.

A guy who I recently did an interview with did a video yesterday completely dismantling every word out of their mouths.  His name is Cyrus Martin and he was a FAN of these guys.  They are continuing to lose support from folks who once watched and respected them.  The video is over 2 hours long because he literally had to stop on every sentence to call out their false innuendos, misinformation and complete nonsense and lying.  And they know what their doing.  And they are doing it on purpose.  Again... shame on them.  The egotistical narcissist bully couldn't handle it when little ole me had the gall to correct him once (and very respectfully I might add).  As I've mentioned before, there will come a day when Amico is successful and they become the Coleco Chameleon of YouTubers.

:)

Tommy,

You should watch the video Retro Bro did about P&I.  It's funny.  🤣  There's a part in the video where Retro Bro makes fun of Pat's laugh.  He says something that I thought was so random and hilarious at the same time.
