Looks like a reimagined version of Sensible Soccer.

Jon Hare of Sensible Software has been very involved in the development of Sociable Soccer.  It's a nice modern take on the original Sensi.

Please @Tommy Tallarico bring Sensible Soccer to the Amico 🙏

Cool. Bowling would be great too. That is good news.

Concrete, who is making the Spades game, made the PBA Challenge game for mobile and likely to get the nod for bowling on the Amico.

Hello @Tommy Tallarico im a new fan of intellivision who cant wait to get my hands on the amico. i was just wanting to ask a few questions in hopes of them getting answered by you or the community.
1.hows it going with 3rd party licenses, like is there any big names that we havent heard of cus i would go nuts if sega made new versions of Daytona usa (only played virtual racing nut i know thats just a way more better version) and the castle (from the sega sg 1000) were on the amico
2.if you cant answer 1 then is there any date coming up to where something like question 1 can be answered or just when we can get new info
3.any chance we could se a exclusive versoin of among us on the amico , i know it sounds far feched but i think it would be possible to get it a e10+ rateing and would be perfect for the amico as a party game
4.any more big board games or card games coming to the amico (would love to see uno on there)
5.i dont know if anyone asked this before but is the nightstalker game(the one im most excited about) 4 player. i know we seen it with 3  and there was space for a forth but i just wanna make sure
6. would a adventure game like zelda orcerina of time be possible on the amico and be allowed
thanks to tommy and all eles who answer my questions and cant wait to see more info and get my hands on the amico in 2021

I always found it weird that they had to add the word "sensible" to the soccer game.  Is this to separate it from those who like to play without caution running into other players and even the goal itself?  Then it would be senseless soccer! 😄

Bit of an oxymoron isn't it? 😀   They were so sensible that magazines commisioned them to do various coverdisk versions - with a grenade for a ball, on the moon, apples v oranges...  all very sensible like lol

You have not been to a lot of European soccer games I take it?  I’m up to double digits on the number of times I’ve attended as  police in riot gear (or mounted on horses) have stepped in to dissuade hooligans and “sensible” ultras from uprooting seats or setting fires.  And the grandmothers are like, “Double digits?  Is that all?  Are you even a fan???”

Some sports promote commercial breaks.  Others, stoppage time for punches on the ice.  Others, contained riots in their gladiator coliseums.. only, the audience doesn’t always know they’ll be doing the gladiating :-D

The title comes from the name of the developer, Sensible Software.  They were aquired by Codemasters who used the name Sensible World of Soccer in a 2007 release and it's still available on Xbox marketplace.

A real dream of mine.. to be a soccer hooligan (or at least cosplay as one)... Europeans really know how to get into their football! I wish we in the USA had something cool like football hooligans..   no we just have regular hooligans that have nothing to do with sports.. haha

I think this DailyMotion clip from the "all too American" Nickelodeon Angry Beavers sums it up for me.. 40  - 45 seconds

Angry Beavers Soccer Hooligan Scene

That is a Blooming Inspired Scene... haha..

Wait, I'm a bit confused. If IE already has a developer working on a golf game, why could they be talking to "a number of different folks right now"? Does the other golf game still need to have its developer assigned?

You mean August.  Things must have changed between may and august.

I'm with you, my gaming prime was in the late 90s/throughout the 00s so I mostly discovered the Atari/Intv/Coleco generation in compilations and flashback consoles. But if we can make the Amico successful there's no shortage of possibilities...hopefully it sends a message that people want more remastered classic titles that have seen limited or no re-release.

Yup, it's definitely a message a lot of companies aren't getting loud enough! I'm definitely enjoying the retro mini consoles, though it's a shame only the Evercade lets you buy more games for it.

1.  There are a lot of licensing deals that haven’t been announced yet I believe those will be trickling out over time. That said a lot of bigger software licensing like Activision or possibly Sega will want to wait a while to see what the install base is like before licensing out to Intellivision.

2.  Have to plan out licensing deals like that to keep buzz going and building it was either October or November that licensing deals for Load Runner, Burgertime and a few others were announced.

3. Not sure about this one.

4.  I’m sure we will see lots of more board and card games coming over time.

5.  If I remember correctly Nightstalker is 1 to 4 players.

6.  If I remember correctly the Zelda game above is open world and games like that won’t be possible because it adds complexity to the controller scheme but adventure games will still be possible just not open world titles.

@Tommy Tallarico

Quick question. My OG Intellivision is acting up and now only displays "EEEE D DD" when I put a game in. Can I still call the toll-free number on the bottom of the console for help? Or I could call collect at the California number. Or maybe you guys have updated the number?

Thanks a TON!

I think it's probably past the warranty date. Just a feeling though.

You guys aren't offering the standard "40 years or 400,000 hours played" warranty?  Dang it.

I think the original warranty was through Mattel... maybe you could check with them?  😂

I agree.  MicroLeague Baseball for the C64 was outstanding, as was Earl Weaver Baseball. The Hardball! series wss another that comes to mind.   For Football Front Page Sports Football, Joe Montana Football, and Touchdown Football were all non-licenced and played very well.  FPS Football was a fun management game as well, whereas it kept stats and allowed you to build and manage a full team

Loved Earl Weaver Baseball and Front Page Sports Football. The best thing about those games is they were about "the game" and not the fans in the stands, the cheerleaders or the announcers, etc. Please don't waste programming time on garbage side shows.

Lode Runner and Burgertime were announced back in 2018.  Looking for something more for their target market.  Something from Disney for the kids has been mentioned, we'll see if that comes through.  The Amico library is currently overweighted with retro game titles.

I seem to recall that Tommy had mentioned at one time that retro titles was only going to be part of what the Amico offered. I think he is just 'playing to the crowd' as they say, and sharing a lot of the retro titles here because that is what gets the most interest from this particular forum group.

I imagine on release we will see a lot more edutainment, party and family-friendly games that did not get much mention here.

Hoping there will be a "Holiday" themed game one day for Amico.. one that we all can crack out and play during the holidays.
We of course will have some winter games that I suppose can be enjoyed too but would like to see some Christmas Sparkle too!
Say during the month of December, snowmen pop up on the slopes in Skiing and throw snowballs at you.. or throw their own arms made of sticks or their noses of carrots if they want. haha.
I mean getting killed off by a carrot... priceless!
Stuff like that. Add some holiday sparkle in some games.
