Looks to me like a minor retailer paying little attention to a product and just bumping the price 30 pounds over other retailers. They might be part of the official Koch Media distribution chain (probably is looking at their website) but I highly doubt they are getting anything early and instead are just going by old info & price gouging on top of that.

I'm guessing they are adding VAT, and not actually price gouging. 

There is a new console out there!  It's called the KFConsole.  It has a new way of bringing families together that the Amico doesn't have!  Is this a credible threat to the Amico?  I vote 'no' but you be the judge.

This is hilarious. Even if this isn't a serious product, kudos to the KFC marketing team who is really thinking outside the box in Q4 2020. From their re-imaging store design, to this console-slash-air fryer, to the Lifetime movie "Recipe for Seduction", it's hard not to notice them. Whether or not that translates into sales, time will tell.

has Jumpman on the Amico been talked about yet?

i played it last night on the C64 emu for the 1st time in 30 years and man what a great game that is 

and i read someplace that the author Randy Glover has the rights to it so it would be pretty easy to get it on the Amico

Wouldn't that be something?  If you search Jumpman on Amico on Atari Age, a few posts come up from January 2020.

Let's hope that the quality of their console is higher than the quality of their chicken.

I also hope that it too is not constantly "out" of honey-mustard dipping sauce.

I posted this on Facebook, but thought I'd post it over here too.

I finally found a video game I can sit down and play with my 2 year old!  Frog Bog!  It only has 1 button on easy mode which happens to be that big shiny disc which she obviously loves to press.  We keep pet frogs in a terrarium at home, so we went back and forth between feeding the real frogs and then feeding the frogs on the game.

Honestly, it was real fun to be able to play something with her that she could stay focused on.  I've been away rebuilding burnt down power lines in the Creek Fire for the past 3 months.  It's such a nice welcome home present to spend quality time with the kids.  Anyone here with kids should know, having a 2 year old actually play something with you for 10 minutes straight and not throw it across the room is a miracle.  Adding in the educational value of feeding the real frogs in the mix was perfect.

I never thought I'd say this before tonight, but now I'm most looking forward to the simple 1 button multiplayer games on Amico.  Nothing like this exists on Switch.  My older kids love the Switch, but my 2 year old only wants Intellivision.  Frog Bog is about as simple as it gets, but it sure made my day and hers.

P.S.  Tommy if you need a 2 year old to test the Amico, we're just around the corner.  I guess I'd have to be part of the sneak peek too as her parent 😜
