Intellivision Amico - Tommy Tallarico introduction + Q&A

I can't wait to see the physical media for retro games.  Sounds like it's going to be awesome.

Just wanted to let folks know that they just announced that the state of California has extended the lockdown and "stay-at-home" order INDEFINITELY for now.

We were bracing for the potential of this happening over the past month.  This is definitely going to affect our ability to hit our April launch and we will know a lot more info over the next few weeks.

We are so close and in the final stages of the hardware being 100% completed (I'd say we're at about 98% at this point).

Just wanted to let folks here know the latest up-to-the-minute info.

Keep in mind that Jon (RetroBro) was very skeptical of the entire Amico project in his first videos and comments.  But the more he learned, the more he started to understand what our goals are, who our audience is and what makes Amico so special and unique.  Great to see him excited for what he saw.

My order from IE was able to be exchanged.  I sent back the wrong size shirt. They're sending the right one.  I'm glad it all worked out in the end.  Hopefully next time I don't mess up.  Lol.  Live and learn I guess.  When buying clothes online, it can be tricky.  Because all you have is a picture.  It's not like you can walk into a retail store and be able to see it in person.  Maybe IE will one day have physical stores.  Wouldn't that be something?

So my thought was what if you decided to sell your game and the digital code was extracted from my console and placed in another. Leave one console and loading into another.  Could the code be written that when a game is sold its directly downloaded from the Amico it was the sold from that sellers console?

I really hope the April launch isn't affected.  If only Amico released last year.

As much as I want this to come out in April. We can wait. I've had a coworker pass from it. A few have had it. Some with not many symptoms. Some are still feeling the after effects moths after.  I don't wish this on anyone.

As far as the video goes... Woo hoo!!! Maybe we'll get to see a new round of teaser videos for stuff that we haven't seen yet. And EWJ4!  Wouldn't that be something?^tm 

On a side note.. I just watched Tron Legacy (in 3D) on the anniversary of its release.  Still a fun movie! I never noticed the line before. . Well done!!!

I don't know if this has been asked before.  How are you numbering the FE?  Is it as you receive them or is it based on the order number?

Well this was to be expected.  And even with that I have no doubt you will still make progress just slower progress.  I hope you all can make a release before summer. Hang in there. California is in a massive hole. Hope you all can eventually climb out of it

Sorry Tommy.  California is taking this to a whole new level. I hope it doesn't last too long.  Businesses have to recover.  I hope the best for you guys.  You've put so much time and effort into this console.  Hopefully it doesn't delay it.

There is some hope... The vaccine will be a slow process, but hopefully gets out there and gets us back to normal. Because of my FF/EMS status, I received my first shot of Moderna yesterday, 28 days till the next.  NYS has upped the priority of all EMS/PD/FF so that those positions are secure.  My hope is that by us stepping up and getting it, the rest of the population will see it's not bad and take it as well.  Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel after all.

It's gotta pass at some point... hopefully sooner than later.  Thanks for letting us know and I'm looking forward to yet another "Indiana Tallarico" video adventure. Hahaha.
