I always found Major League Baseball to be a little odd because you could never physically get hit by a pitch. Apparently the new retro-reimagined version will be including the ability to throw chin music and bean balls at the batter.

Countdown?  What countdown?  I've been out of the loop the last little while just busy with work and a NEW PUPPY we got over Christmas.  Hoping to catch up on Intellivision news I've missed...is the console still on track for 4.3.21 launch!?

Here's Lupo by the way

That is one cute pooch.  What breed?  TJ

Tommy, have you seen the new Space Invaders Forever collection for the Nintendo Switch? I feel like all three games would work great with the Amico controller. Gigamax already has four player support, and the Arkanoid vs. Space Invaders game could probably be adapted for tv mode. These look like great pick up and play, modern takes on the classics.

Holy Crap!  And people say that Astrosmash is too busy looking!   Hahhahaa!

I'll check it out.  The issue is getting the rights from Square-Enix at our current stage.  They don't license much to folks outside their own circle.

Once we launch and build some retail & sales momentum... deals with the bigger publishers will become a lot easier.

Some folks may think that just putting content on hardware is a simple licensing deal.  It's not.  There are a lot of things that go into deals and partnerships.

That is why it's so amazing and incredible to have companies like Mattel, Major League Baseball, Care Bears & Sesame Street behind us already.  They completely believe and support our family approach.

I wonder what day in July the Amico will be released?  The FE would come out before the actual launch of course.  It would be nice if the FE came out in late June.  Then the official launch would be early July.

July? Has it officially been delayed?

My wife wants to know what weeks I'm taking off this summer for vacation.  Stalling until we get the Amico release date.  I know it could be delayed yet again but I'm feeling good about July.

Covid didn't make them any cheaper either.

Tommy,

When you go to access the Amico game shop on the console, will it open automatically?  Or do you have to sign in like on the Switch?  For some reason the Nintendo eshop makes you sign in every time and it's annoying having to keep entering the password.

The company publishing this collection, Inin, has been snagging some choice classic titles, especially for how small they are. Wonder Boy; R-Type; Bubble Bobble; the cancelled DICE game, Ultracore; that cancelled arcade game by Wonder Boy developers Westone; and now this.

Maybe you should chat with them sometime.

While we wait for the Amico and since Flash stopped working one month ago, here's an idea: try Blumaxima's Flahpoint, a compilation of 38 000 flash games. There's even some animations and some Java games from the 90s!

Not everything is perfect, though: you can't sort the list by genre, rating or year, and you need to type "tag:" followed by "escape"/"puzzle"/etc. to filter by genre. But there's a Hall of Fame (where you can also search by tags) and several cool playlists.

I recommend the playlists Adventurer's Avenues and Escaper's Encyclopedia. The latter includes Don't Escape, a fun pixelated Escape the Room game about a werewolf that must trap himself in a cabin to avoid deaths.

Enjoy!

P. S.: Choose Flashpoint Infinity 9.0, where games are downloaded only when you play them, instead of the 500GB version.

Hmm, I wonder if Bomb Squad will be the 6th pack in game?

The sixth pack-in was revealed accidentally.  It's not a retro title.

Come on now.  You can't give us that tidbit and not tell us.
