Yeah, it's just ridiculous. Normally I wouldn't bother addressing something that some random dude posted on Youtube or wherever else, as I tend to avoid that sort of discussion entirely, but in this case...

Here's another idea for a game: soccer with bumper cars. The Flash game Bumperball already did it, but it's only two players (offline with one keyboard!) and cannot be played online anymore (but you can find it in Bluemaxima's Flashpoint compilation).

Space Strikers looks cool but maybe a bit too complex at first sight, so this kind of simple games can never hurt a catalog: Bumperball doesn't even have an action button, just the four directional keys.

By the way, here's a list of cool Escape the Room Flash games included in Bluemaxima's Flashpoint, in case anyone is looking for inspiration. I've spent the last weeks finishing most of them and some of them are hidden gems:
 

I especially recommend Don't Escape, White Chamber, Boat House, Escapers FINAL and Murder Escape.

Space Strikers, How to play !

Objective of the game :

Take control of the space ball, and throw it towards the opponent's goal.

Point Counting :

The opponent's area as well as yours are protected by 5 shields.

When the ball reaches the center of this area, you will get points according to the number of shields destroyed by your teams in this round.

When a goal (1 to 5 pts) is scored, the shields of the two areas are rebuilt,
meaning that it is possible that in a previous round you destroyed up to 5 shields without obtaining any points because you did not touch the goal in the center !

How to control the ball :

There are two ways to control the ball !

1) By creating a shield around your spaceship, you are causing a push on anything near you.

    The ball, as well as any other nearby players will be thrown outside your shield.

2)Use your grapple on the ball which will gravitate around you. It will turn in the direction of the last force that was thrown on it.

   Release the grip of the ball when you feel it will go in the desired direction!

Your Spaceship :

Like in Asteroids, it is possible to use a small boost to inscrease your speed,

or quickly go in an opposite direction (like when you are thrown by an opponent's shield !).

There should be another Amico video or 2 coming before the month ends.  It would cool to see the re-imagined Tempest next.

I’d personally like to see Baseball or another sports game but any Amico videos are welcome and appreciated.

Agreed. I ordered a new vehicle in the summer for delivery in Sep/Oct and I’m picking it up on Tuesday, about 5 months later than expected. Anyone not understanding why there are delays in things like the Amico getting shipped are just not paying attention to the realities of the world right now. If a 1 year delay was happening in a non-pandemic time I could understand getting frustrated and being skeptical, but in 2020/2021 I think you just have to be realistic and cross your fingers that the 10/10/2021 date will be realized. I have every confidence that Tommy and the team at Intellivision will be able to do so and we’ll all be happy this fall/winter.

There will definitely be some Baseball love before the opening pitch of the new baseball season this year!  Count on it!

With the Amico controller, is it possible to change the control layout when playing a game?  Or will they just be default controls that can't be changed?  It would be nice to have the option of remapping buttons.  But then again, it probably doesn't matter to change the controls since the games on Amico will be simple to play.  And you can rotate the controller for different ways to play too.

Hi tommy. Could there be a possibility for a music education game? Where kids and adults alike can learn chords and scales for guitar and piano, learn bass and percussion, and ultimately learn to compose music? Can play along with real instruments, and a cool metronome or pre composed drum loops?
