Thanks. I do have a question. Will the Amico console have an SD card slot to download the whole library of old Intellivision roms that are available for download? If not, will the whole library be available for purchase to download on the system? I don't have a problem paying for them. What I am saying is that I want all the games available. Can't wait for the Amico to come out!

I think there will be like packs of classic games. There will probably not be all Intv classic games as they don't own the rights to games like Pitfall. However, if they own it or get permission I believe getting the classic games is the plan.

No SD from what I remember.

I don't think it's SD ether, but physical media is "something really cool, that you'll be surprised with and I can't talk about it now or ever because they won't let me and I'm really not a tease." -TT

According to their website, it will have an SD card slot as well as a USB port for storage expansion.  Likely won't be permitted to add your own intellivision rom image files.  We'll see if their download packs include things like imagic or atarisoft games.  Is anyone looking for parker brothers or coleco games.

Kind of a topic switch, but: although I am not so enthused about playing the Tutorvision games after playing three of them, although the map one was kinda fun, I am still interested in who the heck has rights to release them, like World Book supposedly needing to sign off but having no knowledge of IP ownership, and if Tommy, as head of Intellivision Entertainment knows, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

Since the developer was not paid, the rights stayed with them.  The two tutorvision games that were shared were designed for very young children.  I'd like to play tutorvision Time Trip Canadian edition.

I'm guessing something similar to Amiibo type stuff. Don't need to plug in the game but can scan it somehow.

Just curious, then, why Keith Robinson would say World Book had to give permission -- just out of courtesy?

BTW, there are three ROMs released now. The maps one, the space math one and the "teen" focused Geographics one.

As far as I know Keith R wasn't involved with the development of Tutorvision software.  And I don't think there was really any incentive for him to spend time pursuing it.

No, but he had the 14 Tutorvision games on floppy disks which he donated to a museum and told them not to release them without World Book's approval, but someone here contacted World Book and they said they couldn't find any information that they had rights to it. If this was all just a courtesy move on Keith's part, I'm sure Tommy could get the museum to give them back to Intellivision Entertainment after talking to World Book, if he has any interest.

He got the floppies from the developer.    Whoever was contacted at worldbook likely doesn't know anything about the tutorvision project.

I don't know who developed them, unless it was INTV Corp themselves, which were transferred to either BSR or IE?

The software does have the world book name on it.  I don't think legally it has to be removed but it could cause complications.

Yes.  We have an SD card slot in the back.  We will be selling the original Intellivision games in "packs" (i.e. Sports, Space, etc.).  Games will probably break down to be about .50 cents each!  But we won't be doing this at launch.  We need to establish very clearly what the system is (i.e. it's not a retro classic box, etc.).  So the original stuff will probably hit sometime in 2021.

Yeah... all the licensed stuff (Parker, Coleco/Nintendo, Activision, etc.) will be more difficult and not something we are focused on at the moment.  More like the stuff you see (and probably already have) with things like the Flashback.

I have no idea.  I could easily find out.  I know who wrote the code and I have a list of everything we own.  Would just need to look.  What are the exact names?  Steven Roney would know.

That’s true but as many games as possible will be nice. Any ideas if home brews could/can be added as well?

Sounds like you guys know more than we do!  

I've never seen nor played them so I'm not sure if they are worth getting (if we already don't own them... which sounds like we don't).  Not sure what the value of bringing them back would be considering (I'm assuming) only a handful of people know they exists and/or ever saw/played them.  Probably easier to create something better from scratch.  But again... I don't know what they are exactly.
