Utopia

Ice Hockey

Ecco the dolfin

Microsurgeron

Texas Holdem

Safecracker

Watching your interview yesterday you mentioned that you are going to sign and number each founder edition Amico. Can I have #1 of 2600?

Can I have number 7 ? 😛 On that interview you did the other day, you said you might add some funny comments like “666 with devil 👿 horns” . Please don’t give me that one or my wife won’t let it in the house !!!! 😂 but a comment along with the number and signature would be cool 😎 . You need to come up with 2600 comments in they case ! Sounds exhausting !!! 😜

I would take that one. My wife would just roll her eyes at me for the billionth time.

Also, would match my little devil avatar. (just sayin')

If we get to choose numbers, I'd be happy with serial #000000002.  There's nothing wrong with coming in second and it would be the first console in Canada (CLAIM TO FAME, CLAIM TO FAME!) and heck to anyone else.  I mean really no one else wants #2.  J's friends pop over "Hey man, is that the first Amico console?"  J:  "er, actually it's #2...."  See? It has a negative intonation there, no one wants #2... except ME!

Make it happen Tommy!  You could even sign it "you'll always be second best Loaf"

Well, if we're all claiming numbers, I'll take "1138".

Probably best not to do any special doodling on console #666.

As a Christian, I’m pretty easy going and something... uh... 666-ish... wouldn’t bother me because I would see the humor and know that there’s no ill-intent.

But that’s not the case with everyone. And since the Christian market is a target for the Amico, it might be a bad idea to get on someone’s bad side who, potentially, likes to be loud on social media.

(I do realize any talk of that was a joke to begin with.)

Probably also best not to do any special doodling on console #69, either. Just sayin’.

I'll even take 666... I don't care.  My ticket on the downtown express is already paid and punched.  Lol.

I think I'm done arguing on Youtube, but I think a certain anti-amico user on Youtube is hiding his comments from certain users. I see where like-minded people are replying to comments from him (they use @XXX) that I cannot see. Is that possible?

Yuck, no thanks. I'd rather receive a console made out of "limited edition" dog crap scraped off of Tommy's shoe.

Seems a bit harsh, but to each their own

My reply was not against you, it's aimed at the idea of receiving a "666" numbered console. Seriously, I'd rather receive a dog crap Amico. I apologize if it seemed that way, that's not what I was going for.

No worries. I didn't take it as personal.

How freaking cool that Tommy does these interviews with up and coming channels. It shows he has a lot of love and passion for what he's doing. It also shows he has a ton of respect for people. Awesome stuff man, thanks for Sharing.

(OK, just one MORE request)

...

Get this on the Amico!!!

This reminds me of intellivision "hypnotic lights".  It wasn't anywhere near being finished but it was inspired by rubiks cube.

My friend Richard Taylor was the Visual FX supervisor for the original TRON movie!

He just sent me this and I know we have a lot of TRON fans here (and we were just talking about it) so I wanted to share.  Great stuff!!

I enjoyed this interview.  As a twelve year old in 1982, Tron the movie was highly anticipated (as were the intellivision cartridges).  I'm somewhat surprised to hear the movie was poorly marketed.  We were very excited to see advanced computer graphics and it didn't disappoint at the time.  Later, and my memory is a little foggy, I remember being disappointed to hear that it was done with traditional animation.  Anyway, I'm happy to get the in depth story of the groundbreaking 3D computer animated graphics in Tron.  By the way the movie Futureworld might have been the first to have a little 3D CGI.  And in the movie Westworld; scenes from the robot's eyes were processed by computers in the early 1970s.

Nice video.  You know what impresses me the most about Tommy?  You can expect someone trying to spread the word by appearing on a lot of podcasts and youtuber vids, but Tommy does the little guys starting out and, this is the biggest, it's not a "listen I got two mins TOP!", nope we get over 1 hour of these videos.  That's passion right there and respect to the guy/gal on the other side of the monitor too.

Keep doing what you are doing Tommy, thanks for being "you" and don't change a damn thing with your passion-based approach to your endeavor.

I don't have time now but come this fall I'm retiring and at the many suggestions of friends/family, I'm likely starting my own video podcast of sorts based on classic videogaming, pinball and VR.  Here's hoping we can make it happen when the time comes!
