Sadly,Soccer was mostly ignored at my house because so many of my and my Brothers friends played all the other sports games so much.

So many great choices in the sports department. 

For me in the 80's those were the games that set it apart from all the other systems.

When the Colecovision came out some of the sports games were prettier but that doesnt mean they played better.

I will give the Amico Soccer it's just do and play it accordingly when I get the chance !

Night Stalker or Cloudy Mountain: Night Stalker. I'm not big on adventure games (graphical or text). Both look great.

Biplanes or Armor Battle: Armor Battle. Same as above. I prefer tank games over airplanes.

Baseball or Soccer: Baseball big time, though I liked the M-Network soccer quite a bit. The "super strange DIMENSION WARP" was goofy and not based in reality, but totally worked. I like that it will still be around.
I'd personally probably like the Soccer over most of the winners in this list. The sports game I really want, after Baseball, is a 2D football that's a modern, improved version of the Intellivision/M-Network Football. Logged a lot of hours on the Football and Soccer, but the Baseball was the smackdown battle fun game. We'd battle each other, we'd battle parents. Good times.

Bowling or Cornhole: I don't know! Neither are really the game for me, but both look like fun with a group.

Safe Cracker or Bomb Squad: I don't know!

Evel Knievel or Auto Racing: Evel Knievel. Wins by being more 2D. If the Auto Racing was more 2D and the view was more stationary, Auto Racing would be the winner. If the auto racing was like Sega Hot Rod (a glorious group 2D racing game, my personal favorite racing game of all time, and the tops as a 3+ person group game too), I'd go with Hot Rod, and maybe even take that over the Baseball (which says a lot).

Missile Command or Breakout: How many people in the room? If it's just me, Breakout. If there's more, then Missile Command.

I believe Soccer is on the Flashback, but I haven’t played it yet. (Always get sucked in to either Cloudy Mountain or Night Stalker.)

I probably should get familiar with a lot of those games. I only had about a dozen Intellivision games before computers consumed my gaming attention and I left consoles behind for many years. But I’ll likely have a better appreciation for the re-imagined versions of games if I have some familiarity with the originals.

The players scrolling offscreen reemerging on the other side worked great.  It made it seem like you had ten players on the team; and you know where the upfield players will be and where to pass.  Unlike intellivision hockey, passing worked well in Soccer and was an advantage if used often.  Intellivision NASL Soccer was one of my favourite cartridges.

One thing that bothered me is that the players can't move after a whistle.  So you can't position your player to receive a throw-in or corner kick.  I assume Amico Soccer will have computer controlled goalies.  Will the kicks be strictly on the ground like Intellivision NASL Soccer or will there be an option to kick the ball high?  I think keeping it strictly on the ground is not a bad idea.

Night Stalker. This pains me since I like the Cloudy Mountain original way more, but the new Night Stalker demo looks incredible.

Biplanes, hands down. Anyone that had heated biplane battles with a competent opponent would agree.

Baseball. The game that sold the system for a lot of our parents I'm sure. Nothing like it since, and all because of the unique controls.

Cornhole. It's clear this game already has a lot of love, and I think it will be a big hit. Wii bowling was there first.

Bomb Squad. I did put in a lot of time on the original, and love it. But mostly, I never played Safecracker. Just couldn't get into it as an adult.

Auto Racing. The original was so cool, but felt unfinished. Looking forward to seeing this re-imagined.

Breakout. Missile Command is the better game, but the re-imagined Breakout demo is hypnotic and dripping with style. And I'll never be swayed from my favorite version of Missile Command on the Atari 8-bit. 

I think this list as the same as Tommy's - but I was picking them in my mind before I even saw his or anybody else's choices. Let's hope he's already made up his mind and is just making you all *feel* like you have input lol.

Night Stalker - even though this was probably a tie back in the day with AD&D on our original Intellivision (which I still use)

Auto Racing - loved playing the original.  I wonder if the new version will have any Easter eggs like being able to leave the track?
