They probably just haven't finished updating the website.  A one-day delay is disappointing, but in my opinion, not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.  Just another bump in the road.

Truth be told, I have no expectations for tomorrow... I just want to enjoy whatever is presented without any feelings of “wish they had done/announced/showed ______” after the event.

I stand corrected. I did have at least one expectation... that the event would actually happen today.

Disappointing for sure about the delay...more waiting 😬

It was probably something pretty major, very likely storm related. Pretty much like @bigdaddygamestudio said - some important guests (or media, press or video resources) were probably offline due to the tropical storm on the East coast, so the last minute cancel. 2020 does suck doesn't it

@Tommy Tallaricowill be coming on at 10:00 as scheduled to talk for a bit, but the main event is rescheduled for tomorrow. I'm not speaking officially, just as a "knowledgeable citizen". 

In the meantime, people should make sure their Amico club apps are up to date... (Sorry ios users, you have to wait until 10:00 for your update, but Android is out now.)

True enough.  It's been a rough year for everybody, and I've had to learn to be more forbearant when it comes to tolerating delays and disruptions; given the circumstances, one has to expect them.

Damn you Apple iOS and your slow app update approval delays, damn you!

Thanks @RxScram, I have a feeling the extra 24 hours will just tighten up that experience - and now we get a bonus mini event (bonusode!) by pushing back a day.  Not the end of the world, just a thousand kids scrambling down the stairs to get a text alert that Santa had a reindeer emergency and Christmas is delayed a day.  We'll... get through our disappointment.

I do feel bad for people in other countries who said they were going to be up at an odd hour to watch the event live.

Definitely an odd decision... Hopefully the announcement that they are delaying for is well worth it. Delaying for a mediocre announcement would definitely just fuel the haters.

I'll admit my ignorance about these two people. I’ve never watched their videos, but see them mentioned from time to time here, usually in a negative light. And obviously Tommy has talked about them in video interviews when asked.

Beyond apparently not liking Tommy and/or Amico, do they have some industry pull or influence?

In other words, why does anyone care what they say or think?

And I’m asking that sincerely because I’m not tuned into the video gaming world. My interest in console gaming dropped quite a bit over the years and it’s only because of the Amico that I’m paying attention to console gaming on some level again. So all these personalities that apparently everyone knows are a bit of mystery to me in terms of how they fit into the industry.
