Thanks!  I appreciate your kind words and support.

You're a fantastic writer and I look forward to reading more Amico content in the future!

Question... what country are you from exactly and how did you hear about Amico?

Im from the Philippines. I just learned it from some YouTuber.

I am from Southeast Asia and ironically heard it from PattheNESPunk. He was discrediting the system and I became curious on why he is hating on the system so much so I began watching your interviews and official videos. In essence he was promoting the Amico for free.

Here is the latest Amico All Access with some time stamps for Tommy's portion of the discussion. It was a great show so I encourage everyone to watch the full thing, but for the bandwidth or time limited folks the links are below:

Intellivision Entertainment Headquarters Door Talk (Tommy explains why there are Mario stickers on the doors): https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=2449

Why do the clouds on the ships in Astrosmash disappear and what is that mystery zero above the score (it is the target score to go to the next level): https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=2718

Final game will also include a bar to show you how close you are to the boss fight and hints are boss fight Easter Eggs: https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=2886

All of the 16 music tracks for Astrosmash (and other games like Night Stalker) will be available digitally and possibly on CD and vinyl. https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=2936

The sound track volume is adjustable in settings: https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=2989

Talk about putting finishing touches on backgrounds & parallax effects - talk about issues in showing the development evolution of the game: https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=3023

Will there be a physical version of Astrosmash even though it is a pack-in game? (If they do, the physical will have bonuses) https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=3779

Could pack-in game change for special editions? (it is possible and talk of an India Amico release): https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=3833

Talk about why an older version of the UI was shown and a little about how the UI works, how the TV screen will show additional information: https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=4024

You will be able to sort the games by a variety of ways directly from the controller screen: https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=4126

Are the buttons on the corner the stick on buttons for cell phone controllers? (yes and details about how they work, transparency, etc.): https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=4188

Tommy discusses margins, cost & the value proposition. Also discusses being the margin impact of being both the publisher of the games & hardware manufacturer: https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=4354

Does every game use the controller in a unique way and could you use a 3rd party controller? (yes to both BUT motion controls, different screen usage, bonus levels & Karma Engine uses are mentioned as examples of why the Amico controllers are used in unique ways and you would only get a partial game experience on say an XBox controller): https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=4525

Using the hyperspace button (as an example) on the Amico controller vs a standard controller: https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=4983

Will there be online message boards or other ways for the community to communicate?: https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=5130

Will you be selling controllers stand alone? (yes, on launch and talk about a charging/docking bay by the end of the year): https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=5185

Did we miss any secrets in that video? (short mentions for a bunch of games on the menu) https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=5265

What are you going to show next in a video? (probably Rigid Force Redux Enhanced and talk about the coop game play and what happens on the controller screen): https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=5475

Redux physical edition? (Wouldn't that be something): https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=5686

More videos are in production with the new video production guy, Eric: https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=5718

What is up in regards to the April release date (now 20% likely) and talk about the need to have firm launch dates for planning: https://youtu.be/qufu40LCvnI?t=5770

Apparently, the arcade-like train simulator, Densha de Go, has a plug-and-play edition that released recently:

Big hit in Japan, but none of these titles have ever made it to English-speaking territories.

(I wonder if the plug-and-play version could easily be adapted into an Amico game?)

Tommy mentioned that if a physical version of Astrosmash comes out, it might contain the original version of astrosmash along with a possible extra level. This would be a cool idea for all of the retro-reimagined physical releases to give people  a very good incentive to pick up the physical copies of these games. Some kind of extra feature , level etc for every physical release would be awesome but especially for the retro reimagined titles ! Something extra that the super fans will appreciate 😀

and I’m hoping for old school color instruction manuals with the physical copies 😀

Oooh, giving an extra level to physical owners might upset players who miss out on the physical run. :skull:

I am thinking like Battlefish.
Also I remember when Tommy said ( a long time ago it's true ... ) that Amico will not have DLC, Special Edition, Gold Edition, Extra Deluxe Extreme Edition, etc.

So I think it will be a bad idea.

Those wanting a physical Astrosmash can buy one, but nothing including new feature on the game should be add !

You can give cd soundtrack, artistic drawing, a cookie in the shape of a space vessel, asteroid-shaped gums, but not more gameplay value.

I already imagine some critics saying : "There's a cool new level for Astrosmash, but it's not included with the game included with the system !!! 😮

You have to pay extra bucks for a physical thing that the target audience for Amico don't care !

Intellivision Entertainment said they don't do things like Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, but they are now doing the same thing !"

So please, no.

Thank you. 😊

SNAFU was a rejected license plate here in Idaho. What passed through Mattel 40ish years ago doesn't make it through Intellivision (exactly) or the State of Idaho now.

Wow, so you're from Philippines! And it looks like you have written 6 articles about the Amico, not bad! This thread is more international everyday. In addition to Canada and the UK, we have people from Italy and Japan and I'm from Spain myself.

As you know, my country had a huge influence in yours, for better or worse. There are lots of buildings that look like teleported from Spain, many Filipinos know some Spanish words... and 92% of the population is Christian, which means the family-oriented approach of the Amico has potential.

If the Amico has worldwide success, maybe you can invite us to one of the 7,641 islands that compose your country to have a party.

I’m with the others here about having the digital and physical games the same. The games need to be the same, no special editions with extra levels or content. The physical game should just have physical items like, box, booklet, figures, soundtrack etc, just some examples. 👍😀

Oh yes...this is exactly what I need!  Not only can I ride the real life shit show we call the LIRR...I can simulate the mass chaos and disaster right on the big screen in my TV room... Yay!

"This is the express train to Babylon...sorry for the delay... We be underway in 15 minutes...Express to Babylon"

I would be extremely happy with a COLOR instruction booklet with physical games !

I have a question that I may have asked before but I forget the answer. I have heard that you need the internet to access physical games for the first time. Is this true ?

Color manuals would be cool.  And yes, internet is required for physical games for the first time.

But what if I have physical game I want to play years after IE is gone ? I hope they will be around for years to come but the point of physical games is that you can play them without any need for any type of connection or verification ?

You only need internet when you put the physical game on Amico for the first time.  It has to download to the console.  After that, it's done.  You won't need internet anymore for the physical game.  I thought that's how Tommy explained it.
