Intellivision Amico - Tommy Tallarico introduction + Q&A

Love this idea!

The art of the "catalogue" has been lost for sure. Anyone remember getting the SEARS catalogue's? And then going through and looking at all the toys coming out for Christmas!! And of course... they always had the SEARS version of Intellivision in there.

It would be really cool to find a game catalog inside the Amico box (finding it at videogames stores will remain a dream, those day are gone, sadly), remembering me when I opened my Inty box when I was a child!
I know that these sensations can (maybe) be feeled only by people who lived the 70's-80's videogames era (like me) but browse the catalog paper pages and read the descriptions of the upcoming games would recall memories to many of us!

100% right and true! Such feelings are timeless, and are great! So precious even more in our "virtual" times...

I can't say anything now... but we do have an AMAZING pack-in with the Amico that is really going to surprise people and bring all of us Gen-Xer's back to our childhood! I'll leave it at that for now. :)

Hi Tommy ! When your mission with the Amico Intellivision will be done and succesful, can you go at Ferrari and make them win ! ;) lol I don't know what's happening, but I thought this year was THE YEAR ! :/

So, here are my last questions before E3, in less than 3 weeks from now !!

I know you will not play all your cards, and you are very structured and well prepared, and it's perfect that way.

But what can we expect from E3 (or a near future) about news for us fans ?

a) Screen shot from games ?

b) Some video gameplay ?

c) Will we see the modified controllers ( Bigger buttons on the sides )

d) Will we know some of the developpers working for the Amico ?

e) Will we know officialy some of the games lauching with the system ?

f) others

Thank you very much Tommy (and your team) for the beginning of this great adventure and for your hard work.

No joke concerning Ferrari. After promissing pre-season testing and looking to have a really good car, it has all come apart pretty quickly. It is frustrating and just sad. Makes me miss the Schumacher days and just whoopin' ass left and right.

For E3:

Amazing renders of some of the machine covers (and you'll see the new controller shapes).

2 more press releases announcing offices around the world.

Selected press will see the machine in action.

After E3:

New trailer with the physical machine and gameplay footage coming in July.

List of developers & games they are working on.

Yeah... the sport has becoming really disappointing over the past few years. I get excited for the start of each race... and that's it. Something needs to be done. Not fun to watch anymore. :(

Is that the new running man?

I think it's Snafu, but with a new twist ! The winner will be the one crossing the other players the most ! lol

And now, we can go in all directions instead of only 4 !!! ;) lol

Agreed. That would be a great candidate for an update.
