I'm very good friends with the folks who made that system and a lot of the software... so ya never know what we might bring back. :)

Thats so cool that you are friends with them. It has to be one of the coolest consoles ever made.. I regularly play my PC Engine CoreGrafx and i also have a TurboGrafx16.. its a system with a unique spirit. I love it!! Air Zonk, 1943 Kai (amazing sound design) and Mizubaku Daibouken are my addictions..

Bomberman would be a great fit for Amico...!

I wish hudson soft would come back...

So if Mario is to Nintendo, Sonic was to Sega, and Atari has the Mt. Fuji logo... what will Amico use? A new Running Man In the works as well?

I'm really looking forward to the new game versions. Night Stalker and Deadly Discs were personal favorites as well.

As for modern gaming... it's too violent and over stimulating with speed, visuals and audio. I agree with Papy on that point. Last version of COD nearly gave me PTSD after playing it. I'm a huge fan of Skyrim and Flight Simulation like DCS... so these new all-out combat games are just too intense for me.

I've even lost interest in all the NFL/NHL sports games on the XBOX. Just too damn complicated to play. I moved back to retro gaming and just bring my portable Retropie unit wherever I go. Works for me.

How about the Intellivoice games like B-17, and Bomb Squad. Any remakes in the works? I'll bet Bomb Squad would be really intense!

Yes to characters. Running Man will be making appearances... but we have a few other "tricks" up our sleeve as well. :)

B-17 Bomber will definitely be getting a remake. It's on the list... but not a launch title.

We have something very cool in the works in regards to a Bomberman type game. :)

The Amico, in 5 to 10 years after launching.

Any thoughts to the future?

What will be become of our downloaded games? Will they always work?

What about long after the servers are gone, any way to download games long after that?

The Wii servers are down, I think whatever games was downloaded on a particular system are stuck on that system. Yes?

The games you download you keep on your system forever. We do NOT require the system to be connected to the internet at all times and we are NOT cloud based. When you purchase a digital or physical product it gets "imprinted" on your machine and controllers. That's all I can say for now. Lots of patent stuff being worked on. But when people find out and realize what we're doing and how... it's going to be a "game changer" (pun intended!!!) :D

Call me old fashioned, but this is why Ill always prefer a cartridge or CD-ROM based system.

I lost a lot of games I downloaded on my first Wii, they couldnt fix it and didnt know how to transfer them. Ever since then its very rare that I BUY digital game, you are just renting it anyway, you dont own it, nor can you resell it.

Ill make an exception for the Amico. Wink wink

But if any physical games come out for it, Ill buy them.

Sounds fine.

A big turn off for me with PS4 was having to download the game discs, same as Xbox One. As a result I rarely play either of them.......Its pretty much: Intellivision, Colecovision, Atari, Nes Classic, Switch.

I'm sorry you feel so frustrated by my interviews

Obviously I should choose my words more carefully. When I said that I was "somewhat frustrated" by the interviews, it was kind of tongue-in-cheek. I'm not literally frustrated! I am greatly interested in the Amico for personal reasons, so I'm certainly curious, but I don't feel a need to know... at least not until I can actually buy the console.

OK. I won't ask any more questions. I guess I involuntarily sounded negative and I regret it. I won't do it again! :)

Don't take it like that, it's hard to feel the tone of a message via text.

Don't worry. if I said that I won't ask any more questions, it's not because I was offended. It was just a way for me to acknowledge that information will be released when it's time.

Amico Tommy ...

What can you tell me about Horse Racing !

I have just played it again last week, not sure if I will enjoy it like when I was a kid, and oh dear I dig in it again !

When I was a kid, I did not realize it was betting on horses. It was just something like trying to guess the winner !

Will it be a problem with rating for today standard ? E10+ maybe ? No betting at all ?

I can't wait to see true color horses instead of purple and Pink ! Or not ? lol

E3 is near, like the last yards on a horse race !

I wish you all success at E3.

Intellivision will be at the big E3 Expo video game convention in Los Angeles next week showing off Amico for the first time with 22 playable games!!! This is monumental! No one was expecting this. I like to deliver big! We'll also be showing off 5 different color combinations of the console. Spread the word! More info coming later today via our mailing list so please make sure to sign up at: www.IntellivisionEntertainment.com if you haven't already.

i would love a horse racing game on the Amico...i grew up in the horse racing industry we owned race horses and my dad was track announcer at a racetrack

here for over 25 years..and we loved Intellivision Horse Racing and you would be suprised how many other people in the industry loved that game

we always hoped that one day there would be a Harness Racing game on a console (there is finally one now on the Android that a lot of people play)

but i doubt that will ever happen

As I understand the information out there some information will be released to the public at E3 but the gameplay on the machine will be by invite for retailers and journalists. However the gameplay trailer is due out in July so thats when we will see games ourselves

I am excited to see the different color options though doesnt matter so much what the console looks like as much too me Im just super excited to play some Intellivision

Yet another thread with direct access to my wallet...

A REAL product... I am SO glad I didn't "pro-order" a AtacoBox... so sad is that situation for all those people... unless you like Taco Memes.

This is really great to see... a project with heart in the right place.

This will get my support day one.

I’d love to see superscaler-style 2D games on Amico, like Galaxy Force II, Power Drift, Space Harrier, Rad Mobile, After Burner, Out Run and other similar things!
