Intellivision Amico - Tommy Tallarico introduction + Q&A

Watched the night stalker trailer a few times now. Just absolutely awesome! 

Well done team intellivision.

Hi Tommy, I love the new gameplay clip and it has me wondering.  Will there be any sort of story presented for these retro reimagined games?  I played all these when I was a kid and I had a great time but I didn’t, and still don’t know exactly what is going on in some of these games.  Like, why is there a robot going after these people, are they prisoners they are coming out of a cell?, why is there a spider, etc.?  Some sort of story to explain all this rather than just putting you right in the action would be awesome.

One of my favourite puzzle games ever was Hexic HD - great relaxing game with an awesome soundtrack by Urbex. Plus it was free on the 360.
 
Fingers crossed a puzzle game of this caliber. The soundtrack can be found here - well worth a listen.
 
Tommy, any more news on the profiles on the Amico, achievements/trophies...?

Great, I agree ! A little story could be fun ! The way I imagine it with what I saw, is as if they are entering another dimension. Kind of like Tron.

What do you think Orange Guard if it was you who created the story ? 🤔

The newest video looked great!

The only thing I noticed was the shooting with multiple characters seemed to maybe drown out the music a bit. It definitely has a lot going on with it with only 3 players.

Does this game go up to 8 players? 

Next week I will have some new stuff to discuss with that kid that liked Breakout.

Great redesign on the Woodgrain. The thinner light bar, that's more sandwiched between the top and bottom is very attractive as well. I think the Founder Edition's are going to sale out by Tuesday morning.

I was thinking the music was interfering with the sound effects.

According to the Mike Mika quote above it's up to four players.

That is good. I think it would be a little too busy if there were more.

This system looks like a lot of fun. I love the woodgrain. 

But PLEASE, limit sales to one console per person or household. I don't want to buy one from some a-hole on Ebay for an inflated price.
