Intellivision Amico - Tommy Tallarico introduction + Q&A

Forgot to mention that I was order 1883.  Work kept getting in the way of way more important things so I wasn't as low of a number as I wanted to be. Looking up the year in Wiki I found that Krakatoa erupted. Timezones were standardized across the US and Canada because of the Railroads. The Brooklyn Bridge opened to the public. (only took 13 years to build).  Wow,  not much has changed if you ever lived in the Bay area.. The Bay Bridge took 24 to rebuild half of it.  - Not construction. Remember, it took time to decide on such things as: Design. Deciding if it should have bike paths. What the environmental impact of a bridge in that area would be. Raising the tolls to pay for the retrofit. THEN construction. Sometimes I feel old.

But on a bright note 2020 will be the year we get back to family fun! I cannot wait for the next round of info on the Amico! Tommy, please keep giving us a great place to go for fun and information!

Yes.  We've spoken to the biggest down there and you're correct... corona has screwed that for 2020.  Hoping for summer or fall of 2021.

Yes, this is all very specific for a reason. I'm tired of companies releasing their old games with crappy dark blurry CRT filters instead of a good hybrid scanline filter, bad aspect ratio options, no h. interpolation, etc., so I hope you guys decide to do it properly!

This gives me hope, especially if you have hybrid scanlines. They are so good when done well like on the OSSC, which has the best fake scanlines I have ever seen. I made a nice custom OSSC scanline thing that more or less matches my Trinitron's scanlines pretty well.

We have some super cool stuff going on with PONG (when you play "original" mode).  Super cool.  Haven't showed it yet... but techies will appreciate it I believe.

I can tell you from personal experience that anger, stress, and other negative emotions will eventually affect your health; both mental and physical.

Social media and Youtube have allowed negativity to fester to the surface in the name of 'entertainment.' The reality of the constant negativity will eventually have personal consequences on those spewing it.

Ask any person which they would prefer:

a) sitting around a table arguing over some subject as if your life depended on it, possibly descending into physical altercations. 

b) sitting around laughing and brainstorming how to make things better, descending into high five-ing and hand shaking and then beers.

I know which one I choose, and thus I am much healthier and happier and is why I am enjoying your positive and open communication. It is far harder to create than to destroy and I'm enjoying watching your journey and apparently so are a lot of others in this little niche called Retro Gaming.

I absolutely LOVE Pong !!!! It’s one of the most simple but fun games ever made and what a classic to be reimagined !!! Simple and pure gameplay and one of my earliest gaming memories !! Super excited for that one 😃

Speaking of Pong did you guys see this Atari is releasing or at least planning to release Or should I say licensing our Pong to someone who is turning Pong into an RPG which just seems strange I can’t figure out if this will be good but I know I’m not a fan of the art style 

I just received a code for 25% off merchandise today,but I didnt see anything else new in the store yet.

Is there any word on that?

in the grand scheme of things, $10 is not a lot of money for most people, but will there be demos of the games available on the console before you buy? Thank you for the information.

Yeah Tommy, the group is really cool and chill, but they also know how "turn on the heat" when it's needed. That's what I admire... attitude, backbone, and leadership.

That's a bit earlier prototype... final design has a USBC connector where the USB3 connector is.

have you bought a coffee mug? the website says they're eleven oz, but they look much, much bigger than that. i'd like to know cuz i've been holding off on getting one because i usually prefer mugs to be 15oz.
