lets see i remember paying $19.99 for Kool Aid Man at Osco Drugs when it came out...Imagic games were around $29 at Toys R Us...I Remember paying $34 for Congo Bongo when  it came out..Intellivoice games were $34.99 each..one oddity was Locomotion was only $4.99 when it came out at Toys R Us..back then i was wondering why in the world was a brand new game only $4.99...then years later i finally found why on the Intellivision website

Going by the play cable commercial a single cart was $25. Btw I was bored and called the number to see what it is now.  It's a fax line lol.  ( I used to work in a used game store years ago and I would call old numbers for kicks , some were stick active...them you get the funny ones the the powerglove which was a adult hotline in late 90s)  but a fax line was my least expected option. Lol

In my opinion I think it better for the masses to keep the game prices as low as possible and raise the price of the hardware if necessary.

I have pre-ordered the Founders edition Amico, I am situated in the UK so I will need to buy an Adapter kit (according to Amico VIP pre-order FAQ).

I am not sure what type of adapter I need as I do not want to blow-up the unit when I plug it in.

Will the Amico be dual-voltage which means I can use a travel adapter (I can get one that has POWERFUL 10A OUTLET will this be sufficient - it says it can be used for consoles)

Or if not will I need a voltage converter/transformer ? (I have not looked into this yet)

So way to go tommy on the news of retrosoft studios doing the amico wrestling game.  I'm already looking forward to retromania on pc. As they got the technos licence for that to be sequel to wwf wrestlefest and mat mania. 

They have a few companies licensed to be in the game already.   One is the NWA (national wrestling alliance) its roots go back to the beginnings of pro wtestling.

Right now the nwa are on a resurgence and are having s great underdog rise back to prominence.   Billy corgan of the smashing pumpkins owns it

 How cool would it be to get an nwa licensed game based on the nwa power wrestling program.  Music by tommy talarico,  billy corgan. But you gotta get these 2 on board to create any entrance themes for the game. Jimmy hart (famous wrestling manager, but was a musician  in the 60s he had 1 single  hit.  "Keep on dancing "  but he created many of the best entrance themes.  And Jim Johnston .jim created majority of the wwf music from the 90s to mid 2000s and no.ones done better than those 2. 

I watched the podcast you did tonight and the guys said retrosoft would love to do an rpg

A wrestling career  mode could have rpg elements  wee had universe mode and games had storymode..

But no.ones went full.on with rpg elements for a wrestling game. 

Also as a wrestling game you can also just say matches and not get involved in the career mode /rpg. 

Wrestling gamers are hardcore about good games.. they dont care what system  long as it's a great game. Plus wrestling fans arent afraid of casual...but being a wrestling game you have to  think much like nightstalker on who will be more interested in wrestling it can be for both with more of a hardcore lean . Maybe a arcade mode and mode for more learning toward the wrestling fan base.

Best thing about wrestling  you can have 8 players 

Just based on team matches not counting gimmick matches like cage or ladder matches.

4 vs 4

 4 corners tag team and tag team elimination

4 team tornado tag its luchador rules where when someone is out of the ring another player from team can chose to replace them without a tag if they choose.

Battle royal.  This can go multiple ways 8 man battle royal for just users or you can make it 10 or more with ai for a few players and 8 users. 

Amico can be a lot of fun  for couch co op wrestling since can have more than 4 players.

Either way I'm sold .

 This is nwa power which billy corgan produces. It's done as a throwback to wrestling territory days of the 50s til 80s where every region  had a studio wrestling show weekly.    Retrosoft are working with the nwa on retromania

man i remember when me and my friends first played Kool Aid Man..before we opened the box we went to the convenience store down the block to buy a couple of Kool Aid packets to drink while we played the game and then we got so excited when the Kool Aid Man busted through wall in the game..they did do a really nice job with that scene
