Brain Age did great on the DS. I don't see why something new in the same genre wouldn't be a hit. Actually, I think something like that could be a huge hit for Amico.

Just be aware, its also the game most people use to hombrew a Wii U

Great post.  Yeah... the "built on lies" comments are just immature intellectually challenged folks who get off on trying to tear down a D-list celebrity.   :)

Even Tony agreed those morons were strange.

I actually wasn't trying to convince him or change his mind... I knew from the outset that it would never happen.  The same thing would happen if I did a Pat & Ian interview.  They aren't going to tell me at the end... "y'know... you made some great points and we've changed our mind".  Yes... most folks who have been negative have had a change of heart for sure.  And that's great.   But never did I think that would be the case with that guy.  My goal was to show that I will answer ANY question that comes my way and that anyone reasonable will understand it.  The idea surrounding his questions was that I shouldn't be confident and that I have no "proof" that anyone will want to buy this.  I feel I proved that to be absolutely incorrect.  But only time will tell if I'm right.  And as I said in the interview... I wouldn't be against me.

:)

Now maybe once they've played the Amico games...

Yeah... that's what I was thinking as well.  History would be another cool and interesting subject to capture.

Maybe look through the most popular/common types of how-to videos on youtube and make an interactive version

And what's this thing with Tony not wanting to show his face?

If you looked like Tony you probably wouldn't want your face shown either.

I could only stomach so much of that interview. As the person who initially got in a fight with TonyTGD on Reddit and stupidly brought him here where he just went wild, I'm kind of amazed he sounded so calm in a lot of that. When you read him online he just sounds like he's always angry or always trying to be innately sarcastic. So if you read this TonyTGD, good job keeping composure. It's harder to act so wild over voice but still, good job.

I want to commend Tommy again for going out of his way to challenge TonyTGD online and step it up and back it up in an "in-person" interview with all the toughest questions that Tony could throw at him. Tommy let Tony take control a lot in that "interview" and the respect Tommy showed for him even despite the constant grumpiness Tony displayed really says a lot and shows Tommy's true character. When dealing with the most uneducated haters, how you act tells everyone what kind of person you are. I think Tommy once again showed that he just wants to make something that everyone can enjoy and his only interest is in making sure everyone tries it before just hating on it and jumping to conclusions immediately based on their preconceived notions. Of course he wants to make a profit as well, but also importantly showing that this is possible in the first place seems like a big goal for him too.

I also just read that 10,000 units have pre-sold for Amico, which brings the total closer to 13,000 right? That's pretty awesome and already blows way past what all the haters were saying. So they will have to start moving their goalposts. "It won't sell 25,000! Oh yeah, well, it won't sell 50,000! After the marketing, it'll be lucky to hit 70,000!" etc.

I really hope the team is super pumped about this and I hope it gives a huge incentive boost for the company, especially considering this was done with no real marketing at all beyond word of mouth and some tweets. No reach outs yet to the casual sector at all. Great job guys and I'm super excited to see more games and more features of the controllers/lighting system on the console. Hopefully this raises some eyebrows in the investor world and more potential game devs or indies start noticing too.

All right, did someone order a refreshing palate cleanse?  I heard back from the kitchen that last video was.. uh... undercooked.  You're gonna like this one, the bartender insists.

It's on the house.  Slow day on the YouTube.

I've also got a virGin & Tonic for a Tommy V. Tallarico?  Tommy V.?  Oh, I'm sorry, Tommy A.

Also is there a Tony?  Tony??  ...No?  No Tonys appearing in this video, sorry to say.  There's a hint of bitters in this one though.  Oh yes, we used just a hint of the finest Contri liqueur (he's pretty big on the Tube you'll have it), and a shot of some fiesty Ferguson whiskey, it's popular.  In parts.

There's a very special Keith Robinson appearance for those in the know, and I assure you, although Passover and Easter may be a little muted this year, but there are a few little Easter eggs in this one.  Creeper Fish, you know what I'm talkin about.

Finally, there was a special note, saying "Thanks across the AA forum for all the encouragement, special thanks to GrudgeQ, IntelliMission, Tommy Wouldn'tThatBeSomethingand anyone I'm missing at the moment for the votes of confidence.. it meant a lot.  The first of many, and they'll come quicker, better.  Oh and if not interested in the whole state of the industry set-up, skip ahead to about the 25 minute mark for the Amico stuff.  And stay to the end for the after-party."

That's it.  Saluti all you shill b*tches.  Sorry to keep you waiting.  Working on follow-ups. 🙂

Ciao amici.

Wow!  That was fantastic.  After the first three minutes, I thought it was incredible.  Then it just got better.

Perhaps a little too much John Alvarado, but I get it.  You had to appeal to some... @Michael Garvey

Of course this is going to bring out the haters.  I noticed it already did. Whatever. Like you said, this isn't a zero sum game. Amico winning doesn't mean somebody else loses.  Great job.

(my only criticism would be that the audio editing needs some tweaking because you get drowned out by the background noise sometimes)

Thanks!  Yeah... the entire team is super excited.  We have a big SLACK gathering when it went live and were celebrating virtually for hours.  :)

We've already blown by our expectations like crazy.... on all fronts!  Purchase Orders, Pre-Orders, etc!

Now we just need to make sure the machine and software is the very best it can be!  (and that our readjusted timelines & budgets stay on track).

Fingers crossed this corona stuff blows over by the end of April as opposed to the end of May!

Another interview today ( On twitch ) ?   5PM pacific Time, 8 Eastern time.

Edit : From twitter yesterday.

In other #Georgia #livestreaming news, has a much-anticipated interview 8 pm tomorrow with Tommy Tallarico from as they discuss the upcoming #Amico https://twitch.tv/VOGNetwork

Me & Bobby have known each other for a LONG time.  I haven't spoken to him in years though... so this should be a great one as he is a really knowledgeable guy and I have no idea what he thinks of Amico.  He'll ask some great questions I'm sure!

I circled back and grabbed a second unit for myself to play in the garage (woodgrain) after already having pre-ordered one for the family/kids, but now after reading the games list and talking to my folks I might be picking up a THIRD for the kids to have at grandma’s.

We were on the phone catching up and I brought up “remember Intellivision?” - after 5 minutes my mother says “well that sounds like something I’d like to play with the grandkids...” looks like it’s going to be an Intellivision Christmas for everyone in the family this year.

stoked!

1246232602463236097Saw an interesting Tweet from Metal Jesus Rocks.  Apparently sales of old Wii games are going through the roof as people are looking for games they can play together as a family.  Though literally nobody plays Wii anymore, that's really fascinating...

https://twitter.com/MetalJesusRocks/status/1246232602463236097

Funny to think that people push back against me on this so much.

The data, research and focus testing we have is OFF THE CHARTS about this!

Do you really have one of those?!?!?

(the proper response would probably be)...

Wouldn't that be something™!

Tommy, I am going to be a multi-Amico home. I am going to have one in my man cave and one in the family room. Other than walking around the house from room to room with the proper controller with the right game keys on it, is there any other way to share games across multi-amicos's in one house?

Not sure how you endured 3 hours with Tony. I would like to tell you what I really think of him, but due to forum rules I don't want to get banned from this site.

We appreciate your passion and for letting us in on this "A" ride. It's been very interesting to say the least.

Currently there isn't (because it would be too easy for piracy). Bringing the controllers into the room though would be easy.

Sounds like Tony needs his Azz whooped!

Or... everyone can just ignore him. Isn't there a saying somewhere that says the only thing worse than being hated is to be forgotten?  Everyone has their opinions but I think the people who exist just to shout down someone else (as a certain person did for that incredible video) just needs to be left alone.
