I died from a glitch. I got stuck in a corner and couldn't move....😟

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

My Mom always used that excuse when she played Intellivision. "This control thing doesn't work!" 😆

Thanks!!

5 of those are already being talked about with their respective owners.  :)

Thank you for your reply!

Good luck with those five respective owners.  Once they see Amico's tremendous value, they'll be tripping over themselves to get on board.

Here are a few more obscure but fun arcade games that might be a great fit for the Amico...I know you're a busy man so this will be my last list 😉

Blueprint by Midway (Ported to Atari 2600/5200)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GRBE3Wj_lg

Bubbles by Williams
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twc_PKg80-Q

Domino Man by Midway
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aV3eS3s5ENI

Monster Bash by Sega
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J51Y33eJ48M

Pengo by Sega (ported to Atari 5200)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6q3bNHvj92c

Radical Radial by Nichibutsu
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s39opyK-PWE

Rock n Rope by Konami (ported to Colecovision)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ow4Vn0_M6rA&t=365s

Wizard of Wor by Midway (Ta ta ta ta!)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Lodc0kFYuo

You are a true "21st century CEO" by utilizing the internet to its maximum potential: Youtube videos, Facebook activity, Atari age stuff, and everything else that you're doing right.  As for the haters, it's like the old Aristotle saying goes: "“There is only one way to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing.” By 2021 they're probably going to buy an Amico for themselves!
Thanks again!

Continuate a indovinare le persone! @ Tommy Tallarico mi ha proibito di dare qualche suggerimento, ma finora ci sono stati alcuni grandi commenti!

I try to guess too .... I say Tom Kalinske was a great President of Sega of America!  He is a bit old, but who knows ....

Tom Kalinske

That's right, he also worked at Mattel before Sega.  He would be the right man, it is also my hypothesis.

Tom Kalinske ha 75 anni. Alcuni dicono che 75 è il nuovo 35, ma ...

Penso che stiamo cercando un uomo più giovane.

It's true, but until Tommy tells me it's not him, I keep hoping.  I have a lot of respect for Tom.

Oh CRAP!  Okay!  Yes... of course.  I just didn't recognize your username here.  Hahahha!

Here's the O.L.S.H. graduation pic...  but I don't see you in it?

Yeah... my dad was huge into ancient coins and Egyptian antiquities (hence why you see my dining room the way it is in THIS video).  :)

He would donate a bunch of common 2,000 - 3,000 year old Egyptian coins to some of our class fundraisers (auctions, bake sales, etc.) so you probably got it at one of those.

Very cool!!

Thanks so MUCH for posting this! It took me a couple minutes to find myself. See attached photo.

So many names I've forgotten over time. I can honestly remember about 10 peoples names.  But you sharing this was so awesome, I can't say this enough!

BTW I found the group photos I took back in the day a couple nights ago. So If you need me to resend them just let me know.

Such a cool dining room. I have the sudden urge to watch the movie Stargate. Great flick.

Now back to the topic at hand:

Was talking to the wife about the Amico just now. Here's what we love about it so far:

GREAT VALUE... 2 controllers and 6 games included!

Auto adjust for players of different skill levels. <<-- this is a massive selling point for us.

Every single game is couch co-op! WOW

Price! All games under $10!

High score for place and time, I love this one!

I still don't understand what Rfid is. I'm off to research this now.

You guys must know the Thompson Speedway in Connecticut, no?  That's where I grew up...and I had TCR racing too!

Never made it there. Just Stafford Speedway & New Hampshire Speedway. I made it out to Lime Rock Park ( limerock.com ) for the first time a couple years ago with my nephew, He's a big Vette guy.

By the way, i just found a Wikipedia page that shouldn't really exist but can be very helpful for our quest: List of video game industry people. Many of the names we've said are there.

The person is in the COMPANY OFFICERS section.

:)

The trolls always put down the Amico controllers as Zunes or Ipods. I think J Allard is a good guess given the position hinted at is less about game development.

That would be pretty hilarious.  Yeah... they would say that J helped us to design our controllers to look like Zunes!   :)

OMG!!  So awesome!!   I gotta do one of these at some point!

Exclusively sold at C-MART... right from his back room (as he would be the person who would buy every single one of them before anyone else had a chance).

:D

AHHHH!!!!   Yes!  There you are!!  Right next to the "Beech".   :)

Woody Hines & Bill Blair right in front of you (I remember everyone's names from my childhood... but suck at remembering peoples names in my adult life).   :)

I started a O.L.S.H. class of '82 Facebook page awhile ago.  If you're on Facebook... you should join us!  Lots of old pics from back in the day.

YES!!  Send me some old pics!  I'll post them on the Facebook page if you're not on Facebook.

The Company Officers section is full of legends like Miyamoto, Molyneux, Romero and Sam Houser... If our man is also more a creator than a manager as Tommy suggested, he must be someone quite important. I'm starting to get Romero vibes all over the place.

Because the industry was crashing and everyone was trying to get rid of inventory.
