Simplicity & Value!  Always at the top of our focus testing as well.  Also.... SAFE for kids.

If I had 2 kids(or more) and am looking to buy them a gaming device, I just don't see how Amico has any competition in the market at all.  $250 isn't too far outside my 'cool uncle' limit of $100 per niece/nephew when buying Christmas gifts, either.  2 included controllers, plus the ability to use a smartphone to play?  Easy choice.  The buyer can imagine unboxing under the tree and everyone playing together later, after the morning madness has settled down.

Hopefully the 'smartphone as controller' concept (genius!) will be heavily featured in marketing, so parents understand that more kids is not forcing them to buy more accessories.  Also, most parents are generally trying to spend the same amount on each kid.  A gift both kids can enjoy for one price simplifies the math at a time when people are stressed out and watching the bills pile up.

Alan Miller is a co-founder of Activision who worked in the game industry until at least 2005. He's 68 though and don't know about his marital or relationship status.

I don't think it'd be a Boomer. Anybody younger than 56 (the oldest Xer) I'd say.

Tommy's getting old but I don't think he is old enough to consider 69 as young. 🤪

p.s.  Can you give me the link to the episode where you are giving away an Amico when you hit 1,000 subscribers.  I want to promote that on our social media and hopefully see your sub numbers rise immediately!

OK, Im going back to my first pick J Allard until I hear officially otherwise  :)  and a different name announced

Tommy said specifically that is wasn't J.  Although all signs point to him.

My final, and totally off the wall guess is... Tomonobu Itagaki.  He's about the right age, retired from Tecmo over ten years ago, has younger brothers, and it would definitely be a mic drop moment.  Plus he once credited Aerosmith and Steven Tyler with saving his life through their music.  So totally random guess, but it definitely would be huge announcement.

I think he DOES fit the profile... and I've known him over 20+ years... but it's not him.

Correct.  This person is around my age (a little younger).  He was a kid when he was playing AND LOVING Intellivision.

:)

P.S.  I believe our PRESS RELEASE about this person is going out on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.  So at least you all won't need to wait that long for the answer.  :)

Maybe we should keep it Italian in nature.

Hahahhaha!   ;)

Now all signs really do point to J Allard.

or Jason Rubin.

Only if @Albert is the programmer!   :)

I've had enough Deus Ex for one lifetime, the first game was a solid three years' of work, and the PS2 version at least another year (if not longer, I don't recall exactly).  I might be tempted to try my hand at a different game, though..

That would be awesome!

Maybe it's a Message Board simulator where you have to find alt accounts and kick out forum rule breakers!

Oh wait... I'm sure you've had enough of that as well.

:D

How about others here??  Tell us the significance of your name you use in AA.

I will try to make this short. (I hope google translate was good ... 🙏)

So why Le Pionnier (The Pioneer) We have to look back 35 years ago ...

Already, at the end of my adolescence, when I started to write the story of my life (lol),

I noticed that I was often among the First (or the few) to participate in certain things.

So I thought it was appropriate to call myself "The Pioneer".

Here are some examples :

I attended a Baptist church when I was 8 or 9 years old.

Every Saturday there was a group outing for young adults (18 to 25 years old) which was organized by the church.

(1) When me and friends started our adolescence (around the age of 13) we became the first not to be adults to be able to participate in its outings. (Go to chalets, do sports, supper with believers etc.)

(2) I was also one of the first to be accepted into the Adult choir.

(3) Another example, but no longer related to the church, at the age of 15, I joined a bowling league.

It was very rare in the 1980s. It was reserved for adults, often quite old.

(4) When Jacques Villeneuve arrived in Formula 1, I had the idea of making an F1 "pool" ("Hockey pool" are very popular in Canada).

The following year, a newspaper had the same idea and produced a "Formula 1 pool".

(5) During the 1st year of "Deal or No Deal" with Howie Mandel, I found it so interesting that I created a computer program,

adding an "emotion" variable, and once a week I involved my friends who became an animator,

(communicating with the banker who was in another room with the program created on a computer),

a participant, those who open the boxes to discover the amounts, a small audience, etc.

We had great evenings, and I organized all kinds of other events (Formula D, and other board games).

So imagine that as soon as Amico comes out in October, I already have 8 weekends reserved to involve several friends and relatives.

I also want to know who will buy the consoles that I bought "in excess" ! 🙄😆

( I didn't take a chance because it is certain that Amico will be difficult to find between October and this Christmas ! Everyone will want to have this new friend ! 😉)

So this article pretty much summed up my feelings on next gen consoles.  The breakdown of how the generations like snes to n64 and how they made a hugh jump forward in gaming technology.  But as time moves on each new generation its been less of a jump. This next generation series x and ps5 will have improvements but will it be enough to unseat me from my xbox 1x ? No.

So since this is a Q&A heres one for not just Tommy but to everyone here. Do you all feel that gaming is getting to a peak where its possible they could crash? Similar to 83? And if so do you see a system like the Amico doing alot better because of it?
