The Amico hasn't been released, yet so of course you won't find it in stores right now. However Intellivision Entertainment has been announcing retail store partners which will have them in store upon release. These include Game Stop & Koch Media is handing the in-store distribution in Europe, Australia & New Zealand (much to the delight of several Australians here & on Reddit). So far physical stores in Europe that have been announced are MediaMarkt and Saturn and while Game Stop is the only American store announced so far - it is rumored that the Amico will be carried in several other major North American retailers like Walmart & Target.

Of course. The boss had said they were in retail. They are not. Whatever is going on behind the scenes is irrelevant. It is either in retail stores for me to buy, or it isn't.

Yeah let ignore signed contracts of distribution and focus on phrasing of a statement. So sorry Tommy didn't use the term of "will be in retail" like everyone (including you) knows would have to be the case because you know the product hasn't shipped. Thanks for trolling here and wasting everyone's time, take your prize (and my disgust) and now I can block you happily and never worry about what you say again.

Like JuncoLand and Boobages, LameStop gets such a limited amount of units sent to each store. And the hawks have an 'in' with management, so you've got to be quick on the draw. My advice is to keep calling them every day and check stock. You could try reserving a unit, but like Rikki, they'll probably just lose your number - and you don't wanna call nobody else.

Also, since you control the game store and we can think "modern" and "outside the box", I think that if a digital game is purchased, your account would be eligible to buy a print-on-demand large size thick trading card (maybe full box size) of what the front box art would look like if it existed and the back can be personalized to the account name and have tips and tricks.

Or along the same vein, an actual cardboard mini box with a regular size trading card (ship the mini box flat, people can glue themselves, insert trading card and a backup sd card of their own if they want when assembled)

He is just picking at a post where Tommy said "they are in retail" because Tommy has signed retail agreements. The Amico hasn't shipped and so of course there are not units in stores. I guarantee you he never called Game Stop an has no interest in the Amico. I was just waiting for him to admit he knows it hasn't shipped to show he is just trying to stir up a non existent controversy. He is just wasting everyone time here.

Since this system will not be immediately online multiplayer I am foreseeing all the Amico YouTuber dudes streaming their screens in a live cast to compete for the higher score and that would be a form of multiplayer.  Thoughts?

Can you give me a little more information as to what you'd like to know.

I'm confused as what you're asking and stating exactly.

The product hasn't been released yet, so of course it isn't on store shelves.  But it is absolutely 100% being sold at retail.  Gamestop as the example.

Definitely to that board, but also if there were 2-4 different YouTubers streaming their screens on a live show it could be kin to online multiplayer.  Just a thought and I am sure they were already thinking this.

My 8 year old son just watched Papa Pete’s Frog Bog video and asked me if that was Pete’s (OEB Pete) dad. 😂😂😂

Oh certainly, why have someone else print your games when you can do it yourself? I get what you're saying.

I think some people might've misconstrued my original question, though.

I was referring to places that do things a bit more traditionally; that is, one party makes the product, and another party sells it. VideoGamesPlus came to mind because they're literally just a normal online retailer.

And Limited Run has been getting into that kinda thing, too; their "Distribution Line" (https://www.limitedrungames.com/collections/distributed-releases) is just a fancy name for stuff they sell that isn't produced by them.
