Putting needed accessories in the box, what sort of crazy talk is that?!? You should follow the new Apple motto: "charge lots and don't put a charger in the box" (not!, that would be awesome if a cable works out in the final packaging).

Apple is better at charging your credit card than they are at charging your iPhone.

same for me !! I’ll have to control myself and not buy a game a month before my birthday !

Same thing for me ! lol
That's a question I asked Tommy on Youtube Intellivision.

Maybe we could have a special before everyone by having the next game that will be in the store ! :) lol  😅

It looks even more impressive when you see all launch titles listed like that, and the only “disappointment” for me was that the dolphin game was not on there.

FYI, the “Asteroids” time stamp is actually Astrosmash. Anyway thanks for making the work of listing and time stamping it all👍

Tommy,

Whenever new T-Shirts are in the IE shop, we need one with Puffy.  I think this was mentioned before.  Probably by me, lol.  But I was thinking that the design of Puffy on the shirt should be how he appears big like in the new trailer.  It's funny to see how he blows up.  🤣

So does Nintendo now for years.

Wonder if Tommy and the crew would consider a launch week special... every launch game in one purchase package for some kind of discount. I’d be soooo tempted.

Yes, we actually suggested this some time back (a “buy all” button), considering there is about 30 games at launch and 6-7 are already packed in, and for the FE/VIP orders there is another 3-5 games extra (gift card), so it will be about 18-20 games left, if all of them are 9,99 it will be less than 200$ to get them all. That way they would secure an incredible attach rate in the first days and get a great boost from the word of mouth marketing. Doesn’t have to be with a big discount, people would just do it for the easiness of pushing the “buy all” button instead of going through the purchase process 20 times.

Tommy,

To answer your question about what name to use for the holiday/birthday theme on Amico, what about Amico Days?  On your birthday, OEB Pete can show up on the TV screen saying "Have an Amico birthday".  Then on the holidays, OEB Pete can appear on screen saying "Have an Amico holiday".  Lol.  I don't know, just wanted to throw this out there for fun.

First thanks for catching that! Obviously a brain to finger short circuit occurred.

Yep, 30 games shown - I didn't realize it was that many too.

I am doing the Canadian Thanksgiving thing this weekend so unfortunately I missed the 10/10 event, but I finally got a chance today to check out the videos of it.

I am loving that the console is being designed to last for decades. Too many electronics are just being slapped together and not expected to last more more then a few years anymore it seems. It is great to see someone building a console with a lifespan longer then to just get it over the line to the nextgen release cycle.

The gameplay videos all look great. Evel Knievel is looking like it will be great fun and I know my nephews would have a blast playing it too, Astrosmash keeps looking more amazing every time you show it off. I think I am really going to enjoy Major League Baseball as well. I think next spring I am definitely going to be buying quite a lot of the launch titles right out the gate. Everything looks extremely enjoyable!

I like the birthday/holiday reminders and that the console and controllers will have interactive graphical screens for them. It certainly adds a nice personal touch I think.

As always, it is great to see teasers of the games you are working on and information for the console itself. Well done Tommy and team Intellivision!

like "hey I thought Snafoo looked cool" and I am thinking, "yeah Snafoo looks cool probably need to get it" and then "I need to pick up Blank Slate for playing over the holidays" and pretty soon I realize I am going to be down to getting Grover's Math Fun for my free Birthday game. 🤣

yeah I know I'll have one of those nights where Im just like, hey its only 8 bucks, and thats only 9 bucks and thats only 8 bucks and I'll just keep buying and buying since hell its only 8 or 9 bucks.  I dont have a whole lot of self restraint on this stuff, its one good things about being older though, I buy stuff on amazon and ebay late night and by the time it comes a few days /weeks later I usually totally forget what I ordered and its like xmas    :)   then Im like, Oh yeah, awesome, I forgot I ordered that.  Being old and up late has some benefits at least.

I have one quick question for Tommy, Biplanes really snuck up on me and looks great, love the stall mechanics etc.  IIRC didnt you say there will be WW2 planes and possibly jets in this game as well, or am I confusing that with another title? if not, and there is different planes in this game, will they control differently dependent on the type of plane?  just curious.

Tommy,

Have you heard of or seen The Beast Master?  There were 3 movies and a TV show.  Not sure if there was ever a video game.  If not, perhaps it can be an Amico exclusive.  The game could be top down, side scrolling or both.  It would be like a hack and slash adventure or something.  The Beast Master has the ability to talk to animals.  You could summon the animals to attack enemies or help you access unreachable areas in a level.

Who hasn't heard of The Beastmaster? When HBO first got started, they played it so much that the joke was, "What does HBO stand for? 'Hey, Beastmaster's On.'"  To be fair, there's really only one move worth watching. Marc Singer and Tanya Roberts at their finest.

Tommy,

a few possible game ideas that I think could work and would be fun to see:

Curling (OEB Pete you’re not the only one LOL)

Darts

Softball

Dodgeball

kinball (a game I played in gym class at times)

that’s all I can think of for now.

Tommy, question about Breakout. We've been playing the demo and really enjoying it (I'll admit more than I expected). My 6yo son really wants to play too but the game is just too difficult with the current paddle size. Will the Amico version have a difficulty setting to allow for larger /smaller sizes?

New Wave Toys has this one I charge 6 mini arcade machines at once with for $60.

I’ve been looking at that one.  They also have a Walkman usb charger as well, that one only charges 3 devices. I just got the Tempest and Street Fighter mini games.  I’m waiting for the Dragons Lair one to come out. Unfortunately I didn’t know about New Wave products until recently so I missed out on the Asteroids & Centipede units.  Now they are going for ridiculous amounts, and they aren’t that cheap from New Wave when they were released. They are cool though I have to say!
