Check it out!  Let me know if you have any questions and what you think the product should be called!

Thank you for the gift of a free game on our birthdays. They’re very nice of Amico.

Also, blowing out the candle on the controller and seeing it go out on the TV is pretty cool.

Awesome videos tommy. Smart move using arm architecture, macs will be using them soon enough too.

watched it with my wife and shes very excited for the amico. A good spread of games that does a excellent job of showcasing what the amico is about.

missile command looks a lot less hectic than the last video. I really liked the industrial design section, explaining how its physically constructed, and attention to detail with selection of materials.

Thanks!!  And very cool that your wife is excited as well!!

Sounds like a very good thing to me!

Tommy, that's pretty freaking awesome!

It's been said before, but probably can't be said enough.

Thank you and your team for all of your hard work, passion and dedication to this project.

You, my friend are the Willy Wonka for our age.

I really enjoyed both videos of the 10.10. event. Especially "Biplanes" is very promising.

I like the original versions of "Shark! Shark!" and "Night Stalker" a lot so I'm really looking forward to the new Amico versions.

I know the shown footage is WORK IN PROGRESS EARLY GAMEPLAY DEMOS but both "Shark! Shark!" and "Night Stalker" are in development for some time now, as they where shown in early demos already.

I noticed two things in particular that I don't like, and where I did not see a progress in the new demos.

- The movement of the Shark! is not elegant.

- The spider in "Night Stalker" looks like a quick draft drawing, that has not a proper line joint at its legs.

Is there any improvement planned or am I simply too picky?

Glad you enjoyed it!

Shark! Shark! has actually come a long way from demo to demo.  Some of it may be more subtle, but if you compare the first showing vs. now... it's a lot of improvement.

In regards to Night Stalker, its actually part of the art style.  It's supposed to look like that.

Tommy,

In the re-imagined Night Stalker, when the invisible robots show up, will there be a way to know where they are?  I never played the original, so I was wondering with the new version if you can know their location via some kind of hint on screen?  Maybe the controller vibrates to let you know they're close by?  Or the controller lights up a certain color?

If I told you now, it wouldn't be a surprise when you played it for the first time.

:)

a heat signature would be cool for that... like vapors or what Predator looks like.

Wouldn't That Be Something?

Finally watched the video today.  It was very impressive to see the behind-the-scenes of the design and what went into it.  I always wondered what it took in modern society to design something new, and innovative and how much thought goes into it.  It was great to see some of the 3d modeling and what some of the inner workings of the design look like, thanks for that.  As with any new console, you often wonder how well it's made and how long it will last... looks like the Amico is built for the long-haul.  The controller looks well made, and with all the little faucets that you guys designed into it, appears to be one impressive piece of gaming technology right in your palm.

I'm happy to see big name manufacturing going into the production as well.  Qualcomm and Ark are both very good/solid name brands when it comes to technology.  Ark has always been the supporter of producing both smaller and larger design projects, along with very good quality in most anything they produce.  Great choice.  I guess I need to buy more Qualcomm stock!!

Game video was great.  So much pop to many of the games.  Some have a little too much, but I can see games like Skiing, AD&D, Nitro and Biplanes being a lot of fun right out of the "box".  Looking forward to those.   Good to see a large genre menu as well.  Kids, teens, adults and seniors all look like they're well represented.

Thanks for the video, I'm looking forward to more and can't wait till April!

So glad that everyone has been enjoying the 2 new videos!!

Thanks for the support!

Great videos Tommy.  Loved the HW one especially and the attention to durability in the design. Was exactly what I was hopping to see.

SW video was exceptional as well. Bi-planes in particular has got me pretty excited. Also noted the cars in Nitro Derby appeared to not be so out of control, and really looking forward to that one as well.

Load Runner, Bump ‘n Jump and Burger Time; well those were just the cherries (or maybe I should say the cheese) on top.

10/10 was a 10 out of 10, despite the live stream technical difficulties; it is still 2020 after all.

Great job to you and the team!

Thanks!!!!!!!

Yeah.... out of all the games so far... Biplanes is the favorite in our test department!

Blowing out the candles on the Amico may be the only SAFE way now.

Just had a family birthday party and couldn't let them risk blowing out the candles.  SAD DAYS.

My Nieces birthday is in 2 weeks... Any chance we can get a proto in time for her?  She will be 8.  A magical age.  I have celebrated a birthday with an 8, 5 times..  like most of us here.

Keep trucking team Amico!

This was a cool video.  Its something unique and different.  I like how you blow out the candles on the controller and the TV shows the candles going out.  Also, its good to know you get a free game on your birthday.  Do you get to choose the free game?

It will probably be on the Amico Club app at some point, but no guarantees.  It just doesn't look (or control) as nice on mobile.  But we might do it down the road a bit.

I only asked because the demo won't work on my PC.  But that's fine.  It'll be better on Amico anyway.

with a huge "VERY EARLY PREVIEW!" caption would have been better?

Tommy kinda did but I agree, it should have probably been in red, flashing and bounced on the screen (or at least one of those ;)). Some people just aren't used to seeing raw game play and not slick cinematic (often times of not even real render engine stuff). Personally I love it because I get to see the game progress and get more refined, but not everyone gets it.

Nice personal touch to make the console more friendly and like a “buddy” or part of your family...my vote is to call these IntelliDays.

Yay! So excited to see a lengthy sneak peek at the newest iteration of Biplanes with similar physics to the original. Also loving the board / party game treatment. It's clear the team knows what will work with a group of people, and the best way to present it. Seeing the progress on Skiing, Shark Shark, Night Stalker, Cloudy Mountain, MLB Baseball, and Snafu almost make me happy that the launch was delayed. I'd much rather see the games get refined and tweaked to their absolute best before being released out to the masses. Hopefully this also means more time to acquire new licenses and plant some more Easter Eggs :)

Great idea! So many cool little Amico nuggets being dropped here and there. And I'm sure there will be many more to come!

Thanks for the thoughts and reaction.

Yes... there are other "things" in Skiing that will be around.  I don't want to give away all of the surprises... but I just have one word to say...

YETI!

Baseball camera angles are still being worked on, but they are close.  Remember that you need to be able to see all of the runners (including home plate) for every single play... so in order to make the entire playfield bigger, we need to pan out a bit.  But again, still needs adjustments.

Amico will be SUPER EASY to take with you!  We even have an awesome carrying case that holds the entire console.  Will be showing that off within the next month or so.

Thanks!

Yeti? Awesome. 😁

Thanks for the reminder on the runner visibility in Baseball -- I forgot about this part of the game.

Nice -- a carrying case! I can definitely see taking it along to places. Pre-COVID I traveled a lot for work, not sure what will happen in the future, but it would be great to take along in my carry-on and have during longer trips where I can set it up in the hotel.
