Perhaps have the darker ones for the vip edition, and the light coloured pin can be available in store 😀

Both are beautiful, but first prize goes to the left pin.  To echo what many have already said, the left pin's dark woodgrain is closer to the original Intellivision console.  

Here's an idea: How about swapping the backgrounds with the running men? Perhaps Atari Age has a photoshop hero who could do that?

Something in between like the original rendering would be better. Less gloss, and more medium brown. The one on the right looks too caramel, the left a little too dark. 
 

Again, I prefer less gloss. But enough nitpicking. Any should be fine. 

I didn't know about this game. It's a sequel.  I only knew of the original Mappy.  Perhaps both could be on Amico.

Because TJ looks like Santa, he could be in a commercial for Intellivision.  In the commercial he would be seen coming down the chimney and putting Amico consoles under the Christmas tree.  That would be so cool.  We need your photoshop skills CurlyQ.  You could show TJ dressed up as Santa and taking Amicos out of his big toy bag.

Are you still considering sending out testing units for Amico?  If so, are you going to tell us on here who will be getting one?  Or is it by email?  Also, do we have to pay for the testing unit?  Lastly, will we be able to keep the testing unit?

Okay,

My wife likes the darker one on the left, "more contrast".

My daughter (age 5) likes the one on the right, "I like light things".

I like both, staying neutral.

I think the reason the one on the left looks less defined is due to camera blur.  It looks slightly out of focus.

One dark pin & one light pin.  The dark side and the light side.

I vote the darker left as well. It could just be a product of the lighting in the picture, but the brighter, red pin on the right has too much shine and brightness, and I tend to like the more subdued, subtle look of the one on the left.

Does IE have any plans on releasing any other laser etched Amico reloadable gift card designs?  I thought that was a really cool addition for the Founders Package, but was stuck at work that day

Honestly, I prefer the right version better. The woodgrain pattern isn't as busy there as it is on the left pin.

I'm not a contrarian, I swear!

Yeah ! And more I think about it, it's possible that it will stay 2020 because it was January 2020 when the founders Edition was announced and reserved !

Left darker pin is much better. One on right isn't close to the woodgrain colour of the original system.

Left one is great.  Looks best with the gold trim.
