The game is looking good!  Loved the Easter Egg... For the first game with an Easter Egg! I'm still wrapping my head around the sideways aspect of it as Breakout has always been a Vertical-type game. That may be just me. I get why, you use up more screen that way. Not everyone can set their TVs Vertical! I'm sure more news and game play videos are on their way.  As much as I want to see new stuff, I get why you are only showing things that you have already showcased. You do have to save something for later :)

I also get why you didn't do more showing off gameplay with people on it. I'm sure that no matter what lag, if any, may be present currently, you would not allow a laggy game/system to be released.  Will there be a Tommy Seal of Approval on all games?

All games will have the Blue Sky Rangers seal of approval

The Atari game play videos I want to see in action are: Adventure, Centipede, Tempest, Warlords & Yars' Revenge.  But if I had to choose one for the next Atari video it would be Yars' Revenge.

For me it would be Warlords and Adventure !

The new Warlords will look awesome.  Maybe there can be explosions added to the game play as the castles are being attacked.  Also, let's hope in the Adventure remake that the dragons don't resemble ducks.  Lol.  I'm hoping that the player isn't a square.  It would be nice to see an actual knight or perhaps the Running Man.

I have been hoping for an update to Adventure for years !!! Imagine 4 player Warlords  on the Amico. How about up to 8 players for Warlords with teams of 2 when it’s over 4 players ? So with 6 players , there would be 2 with one player and 2 with teams of 2 players  ! Or 4 teams of 2 ?  Ok now I’m going overboard ! Lol 😂

The re-imagined Adventure isn't far away.  Hopefully it comes to Amico late 2021 or sometime in 2022.  4 player Warlords sounds great.  And the 8 player Warlords with teams of 2 is even better.

I was not aware work had begun on Adventure.

Tommy,

Will there be a game on Amico where you have to solve riddles?  It could make for a fun party game.  Everyone takes a turn to solve the riddle.  The riddles don't need to be difficult.  They would be fun and simple.

They probably have the rights to this.

There are also multiple first person shooters in the market yet no one seems to complain that XBOX shouldn't exist.

Playstation fans say that every day! 🤔

I think Warlords will look very similar to the Xbox 360 version, especially as it’s the same company doing it. 👍😀

I haven't been here for a while, but what's this about 10 frames of lag and where did it come from? In any case, it wasn't from the final version of the game. 10 frames of lag at 59.94Hz is atrocious and would make pretty much anything aside from something like chess or a turn-based RPG unplayable or close to unplayable. That's somewhere around Stadia levels of input lag. There is a method to accurately measure input lag, but that requires having the system, the controller, the game, something like the Time Sleuth, soldering skills, math skills, and a high-speed camera... not likely in this case, I think.

I'm strangely reminded of that time when there was a giant dustup around Terry Schaivo (tragic media exploited story of a terminally brain dead woman).

The Senate Majority leader at the time, Bill Frist (who was a medical doctor), diagnosed her from a VHS quality videotape of her staring at a balloon, and declared that she had brain functions. The autopsy later found that her brain shrank to 2/3rds it's size and had liquefied.

Of course examining input lag from a compressed YouTube video is a LOT less ghoulishly inhuman than that media circus, it still stands that that the guy's probably full of crap.

I just hope after the amico comes out it will have games which will have this type of look and feel etc since just like a good cartoon, a cartoon based game can be fun for all ages.  ( FYI I LOOOVED  Gravity Falls)

Whose ready to BREAKOUT? Here's a little unfinished work-in-progress teaser showing a little bit more of our exclusive Breakout game ONLY available on Intellivision Amico.

Developed by our extremely talented friends at Choice Provisions!

Please make sure to check out some of their other amazing games like the Bit Trip Runner series!

You'll noticed we changed the spelling of PEAK back to PEEK as it seemed that the play on words caused a bit of an uproar.  We thought it was cute and funny and a fun way to title these segments.  Some folks didn't get the joke so we decided to just keep the spelling correct to avoid confusion or having to explain.  :)

I love it ! Presentation, sound, etc.

The only thing I am not sure about (1st impression), it's when we are two players, when one player is near the other one, one paddle is one inch in front of the other !

I don't know if sometimes we can miss a hit because of that (or the ball not going in the desired direction when hitting it !?)

Should one player be always behind the other one instead of this sudden change when near the other player ?

Like I said, it's only a first impression, and I never tried it ! lol  😅
