It would be good to have a Lego game on Amico.  Wouldn't that be something?

That would be something and it could be a big break away from their Lego Movie or Batman and such series that everyone thinks of today. Maybe a brick puzzle or bridge construction game something like Lego Creator, or something like a the Simcity sort of game, Lego Loco?

Has there ever been a lego CAD-like program where you could free build or build to a print, then view as you build from all angles and zooms?  I think there could be some unique opportunities with Amico’s controllers with something like this.

Think this could be fun and would help prevent people from stepping on those plastic blocks that got away when cleaning up; I can still vividly remember the pain that caused.

Would be cool if you built a boat or a car and then get to race it, or turn based play where you build a castle which then gets attacked with large gauntlets, after which you then need to try and repair any damage before getting re-attacked; at least until your opponent causes enough damage in one turn that collapses a stronghold within the castle.  Could be repair time or piece allocation based turns.  Half the fun of building something with legos was always getting to destroy it.

Not directly Amico related but in remembrance of the Atari/Intellivision wars of the '80s I found this interesting:

Atari is splitting into two divisions with Wade Rosen (who was Chairman of the Board after a big stock purchase in March of 2020) heading up the Games, Licensing and VCS division, while former CEO Frédéric Chesnais is heading up Blockchain technology and it's licensing.

https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2021/04/06/2204621/0/en/Atari-announces-the-creation-of-two-divisions-Atari-Gaming-and-Atari-Blockchain-and-a-change-in-Leadership.html

It is my pet theory that Atari finally got it's finger out on the VCS shortly after Wade Rosen joined in the spring of last year, so maybe part of the issue was that the VCS wasn't Chenais's primary interest so it was running a bit on autopilot. Don't know, just seems like things finally started moving in production and and communication changing from irritating pap ("What was your favorite classic Atari game in a green box?") sort of interactions out of their official VCS social media. All just a guess but it is interesting that the company has divided itself into two clear focuses today.

I'm just pissed he forgot the part where I drove him around in a Ferrari to get ice cream!

I'm gonna need to get a less powerful hypnotic amulet.

MICHAEL.... YOU'RE GETTING SLEEPY...

Haha.

I have to say I've never been in a Ferrari, but I *did* drive a Lamborghini while I was in Italy and I was only 12 years old.

This is a true story.

For those of you who may not know, Lamborghini started out as a tractor company, anyway my aunt and uncle in Italy had a Lamborghini tractor and they let me drive it (with them on board beside me of course) while I was vacationing in Italy as a kid.  To this day I still tell people I drove a Lamborghini in Italy lol

Oh, the stories we tell.   Nice!

Makes me wonder if Zamboni will ever get into the elite automobile game.

When I was dating my wife (before we got married) we went to Palm Springs for the weekend and I told her I was bringing her to the highest rated restaurant in Palm Springs. She was really surprised when we got to the sky tram, as it was then when I told her we needed to take to get get to the top of the mountain, where the cafeteria was  🤣

There is a game sort of like this but it has specific missions. It's Lego Creator Islands and it's on Play store. It's a fun game and my son likes it because he can play whenever and for however long. I think there are other Lego creator games as well.

Brett Weiss did a great job on this one:

Having a lot of money is no ”vaccin” for being a scammer, in fact i would argue that rich persons would often be more likely to come up with complex business scams. However, in this case it’s not only Tommy, he would have had to get all these industry veterans to leave great jobs/careers to be in on the scam, well known and established manufacturers and developers to actually create “fake” hardware and software, make licensing deals with known and established company’s, distribution and marketing deals with distributors and dealers, for example Media Markt sending out a Press release and taking preorders, and GameStop having in store marketing campaign and taking pre orders. That’s a lot of people that is going to have to get a cut of the fully refundable pre order money, not a lot of money considering the incredible amount of work put in over several years and involving that many people, just saying, to actually release a real console might be easier 😅
