I like that idea. Play as a male or female, then get a power up to become a beast for extra schtuff to do and revert back to a cute human again.... with ponytails, or board shorts. Whoever reaches the pinnacle first wins the round. Also grinding, ala Jet Grind Radio or Sunset Overdrive to get from building to building over telephone/power lines.

We will be announcing those in a few months.  It's all the big ones you would expect though.

Yeah... we actually have a section in our game design bible about this.  Colors will be important for some of our games... and it those instances we try to show other ways to incorporate letting people identify things that are important in gameplay.

 

 

This is great news. My father in law is colour blind so that is one reason he doesn't play video games.

Sea Battle, Tarmin, and Space Spartans for sure.

Utopia we had mostly memorized, but the consequence of accidentally building the wrong building was enough to keep those coming.  Pretty sure Utopia was the one we actually wore through.  By far Mom's favorite game. 🙂

Sadly, Utopia was a game I never had or played. I'm definitely getting the Amico version.

You should check out the original.  The strategy aspects definitely hold up.  We still play that one a lot around here.

I really liked your imagining of a possible DnD game for the Amico. It was a good example game to show how creatively the Amico controllers could be used: Dice rolling; managing stats & items on the controller screen; the idea of using voice commands & making magical motions to cast spells - is just a really cool mechanics. Also makes in person multi player game play much more possible by moving each character's 'stuff' on to their controller & leaving the TV for the adventure.

Aw man, you missed out - probably the Intellivision game I have put the most hours into. However I am into the strategy games. It also probably explains my unreasonable hatred of hurricanes, pirates & rebels.

All that talk about the “full frontal nudity” (and watching a trailer from a game that was mentioned) did make me ponder some hard, philosophical questions in life, though.  Like –

If a decapitated corpse is coming at you with his weener hangin’ out, wearing nary a stitch, is that full frontal nudity, or something like 9 tenths frontal nudity since 100% of him didn’t show up?
