They can come off as jerks but there's a few criticisms that I think they have a point  such as how looking down at a screen on a controller while trying to play a game on a TV has never been convenient or worked well.

...

What makes you think Amico games are like that.  If you're using the touchscreen as a trackpad (eg. Missile command) or a swipe action (night stalker).  You don't need to look at the controller.  Even if you're using the touchscreen as an action button, it's a large area, no need to look at it.  And as a button the touchscreen is actually far more responsive than any physical button.

Ok you ALL know what I'm going to fixate on from Smash JT's video....

That big hammer in the background.

He showed a clip of him from an earlier video and the hook on the wall was closer to the hammer's head. But when he cut back to present day the hook was further down the hammer's handle.

Is he in a new room and the studs on the wall different?

Did the weight of the head cause it to fall so he had to rebalance it?

Did it break (there seems to be tape or something on it now) so that changed the way he hung it?

So many unanswered questions.

This is going to drive me mad.

That is where Amico II, Amico Part Deux, Amico 2, Amico TT, Amico 5-3.... haha comes in.

Maybe a larger controller option for the kiddies... size of a iPad Mini... just for kids or people with fat fingers.

😋

TJ

I like the idea of a larger controller...but, transporting it over to your buddies house for game night would be quite a chore! 😜

This goes even deeper than I thought...

The tape was there in the old clip so that's off the table.

Toward the hammer's head there are scratches....suspicious.....

Then if you look closely you can see he painted over two holes in the wall....but why two...they are too close to be for both hooks...was he trying to find the stud....why didn't he use a stud finder...did he try the knocking on walls trick...

🤔

Maddening.

He stopped doing videos in the room when he got his new job and was just doing videos while driving into work so he took his set down now with everything on hold and shut down he figured he’d put the set back up maybe when re removed the old hooks for the hammer the holes were too big for them to hold the weight so he had to move them slightly

Oh thank goodness.

It would've driven me mad to not have at least some back story about that.

I've seen some of his past videos and he was in a car.

I always worried he'd get into an accident.

Pretty good.

Right on JT. Listening to Pat and Ian's comments in his video and their psychotic nutbag rhetoric, it is clear they are useless youtubers and beyond hypocritical for criticizing someone else's journalistic ability, as they have never had any. They are close-minded drama seekers.

One of the things I jotted down while reading through this entire topic the last 2 weeks that I thought was interesting was the discussion on an Amico magazine and/or game catalog.  I’d love to see this as well, ideally in paper but would be happy with an emailed e-series, if that was the only medium to pencil out. I know this would come a business cost, but with the IE Amico family friendly DNA, maybe there’s a niche market for advertisers.  This may be more desirable for the retro section of the Amico as it may spark memories of days gone by, but it could also create new memories for the young upcoming gamers.

That's an awesome idea! Could you imagine the reaction a catalog would get coming out Thanksgiving week, perhaps?

Maybe we as a community could work on this and create it for the other fans

so the screen is just a touchpad? they have that for PlayStation controllers and people don't like it.

It's a screen, like a smartphone screen. Not just a pad.

The playstation touch screen is in an awkward spot for gameplay.  Has it been used much by developers.  What's an example that people don't like.  Most people who play a lot hate changes to the controller.  I remember all the complaints about the steam controller.  I also hear a lot of good things about it when games are specifically designed for the steam controller.

The Amico touchscreen display will be used for private info (e.g. card games, board games) and wherever else it's appropriate.

I wonder something.

I'm not talking about anyone specifically mind you so please no one take offense.

Why do people troll in these forums?

I remember people in mmos would troll but I figured they were there already and maybe bored at the time they were trolling.

I just don't see the effort to go out of your way to troll.

Like I said I'm not referencing anyone in this forum particularly but as an over 40 year old with others here who are of similar ages and older I just dont see the fun or thrill of trolling.
