THE CEILING FAN MYSTERY HAS BEEN REVEALED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dang you MG.  I listened to this pod cast while walking our dog, and actually stoped and pulled out my phone to watch the stupid ceiling fan spin - really!  (No offense Tommy, i’m sure it is a fine fan.)  I’m honestly ashamed..., and apparently a bit easily entertained.

Hope I’m NOT the the demographic Tommy is counting on 🤤

Anyone else have their IE order come over different days, with one shipping notice?

Got my hat yesterday, which I was surprised to get as I figured they were shut down, but my other 3 items are acting like chameleon’s/vapor “wear”.

Yes,and my stuff came with a notice stating things might be shipped separately.

Everything showed up ok,but on different days. 👍

Tommy, I know you are not an Apple guy (I wasn't for a long while but am now all in), but they do have a cool feature that might fit well with your Amico Depot site.  With iPhone, you have the ability to see everything you have purchased, but is not currently installed on your phone. For Amico, would be cool to have personalized e-catalogs of games that do not show you what you already have installed/purchased.  This would be really helpful for the late adopters that want to collect everything, as well as those that may have lagged behind in their weekly-to-14 day purchase commitment; um.., I mean cycle.

Very Cool!  Yeah... it kinda amazes me that the best couch co-ops these days are being made for Steam/PC.  4 people huddling around a laptop (what most people have) isn't the same as seeing on a TV and everyone on a couch.

Do you know the devs?  If so... please reach out on my behalf or let me know how to get a hold of them.

I remember in the late 90's i bought You Don't Know Jack The Ride which was the best of the YDKJ games, but to play 2 player you had to share the keyboard. That was not fun. Now a days there are controller methods to solve that but not sure about back in the 90's

I have a question for the group...

Does Steam even show the esrb (the ratings) for games?

I know certain games have a warning before you can go to the page (because of extreme violence or adult themes) but I couldn't find the esrb for some games on their game page.

Am I looking on the right place?

Are these games even rated?

I went to the esrb website and that is no help.

Some games do. Others don't. I know that's not helpful, but that's how it is. It should be noted that I am looking at CERO ratings because of the region lock, not ESRB, but this is what I am seeing. Not everything on Steam was submitted to the ESRB, even if it was legally released in the USA.

Tommy, the mug selection works properly now.

I had my single order of 2 things become 2 separate orders of 1 thing each and each had its own separate tracking number, but I got them together.

That's the game I was thinking about yesterday,You Dont know Jack that was so much fun for my Wife and friends 20 years ago.

That would be an amazing addition for the Amico for sure. I know my Wife would play that for  and we still have the same friends to play with. My kids are grown now too, more players!😃

If that game was mentioned here previously I somehow missed that conversation.

There was quite a few You Don't Know Jack games over the years. All of them were good. Some better than others. Even 2 on the PS1. The original Jackbox Games had it as well. The company who made YDKJ makes the Jackbox series and those are extremely popular especially with Twitch and Youtube streamers. I have had fun with those myself.

I have been looking at old retro games, and one that took my interest was Warlords first published by Atari in 1980 (since then I believe there have been several remakes since).  According to a game description - the game is a combination of breakout and Quadrapong.

It is a 1-4 player game where each player has to protect their fort (in each corner of the screen) whist attacking the other players fort.

Are there any plans to re-update this game or make one in a similar style, as I thought it might be a good choice for the Amico.

I have not included any links as I did not want to inadvertently break any forum rules with regards to advertising.

Just hit me - 4/10/20 - exactly 6 month to go!

This is the one time I would prefer to read 4/10/20 like the brits do...and much the rest of the world... 4th day of the 10th month of 2020... means only 6 days or in our FE case.. hell maybe we already have it!

Yes yes yes!!!

Tommy,

That was a good interview you did with Linda a.k.a. The Gamer Girl.
Tommy,
I sent you a message on Twitter awhile back about Space Team on mobile and I heard you briefly mention the game during this interview. Any chance of this game coming to Amico? A multiplayer couch co-op mobile game. Fun as hell. It would be perfect and even better on Amico!

Even less if you get FE/VIP! Provided it gets to your country/home before then, anyway. I imagine most of you in North America will get yours way before the people who live in Europe and I get ours.

Curious to see how fast the shipping on those will be.

Pretty sure Warlords is confirmed for Amico (don't know if at launch or not) and agreed it is a fantastic game.

Thanks!

Tommy, I haven't really been paying attention for the past few days because I'm still figuring out a bunch of stuff with the SuperGrafx (turns out that Darius Alpha might actually NOT be SuperGrafx enhanced like the entire internet says!) and I've been over in the TurboGrafx thread constantly, but not here. It seems to me that you guys have a little under 24 hours left for VIP reservations. How are the results aligning with what you predicted for it?

Very much surpassed within the first few hours on March 31st!  :)

We sold around 1,000 units in about 10 - 15 minutes!

I love my color-changing mug-we've been making a pot of coffee every other day, and putting it in a vacuum sealed carafe.  It's just the two of us, the coffee is still perfect the next day (still warm, actually) so on day 2 I've been microwaving it, to make it hot.  My Rebel mug tells me when it's done!

Very cool!  I never even thought of it like that!

Gonna do this tomorrow morning with my hot chocolate!

I don't know about you all, but I can't wait to play Cloudy Mountain on the Amico.  When I finally get it for my system, I will be making the following announcement to my entire family...

I'm such a huge fan of the show and that episode was one of the funniest ever IMO!

Well it has been since October 2019 since their 37th and last podcast so maybe the fix will be "The Amicoaries".  Anything like that being kicked around from your folks Tommy?

Nah... those guys do the most incredible job ever!!
