On a serious note... yeh there are a few places I scan all day... and this group is one of them.

I am a newcomer to Intellivision, not AA though I been here for ages, but Intellivision I am.  So I feel welcome here and it feels like home.

I also peruse the net all day for work... and I do for enjoyment too, so always scanning for certain content and groups and enjoying them all.

Facebook Groups are great too.

Thanks for hanging in here with us AmicoKids

See what I did there.

I LOVE your sense of humor and it's a honor to have you here participating with all of us!

the whole sack of shit at that independent thread actually caused me to totally leave this site. i wanted to actively participate and ask the tough questions as they say rich doesnt do but guess what? the losers there were so bent on posting stupid ass images and acting like lunatics that have nothing to do but bash things i felt totally embrassed i could even possibly be associated with them. thats what they have done. they are pushing away actual criticism or evaluation that could be helpful towards tommy by making anyone who is critical like me walk away from this site for fear of being in Saint. Patrick and Lady Ian's camp

completely fucking stupid behavior and i am glad people itt are catching on. what an absolute joke of a bunch of people that belong on resetera or 4chan or somewhere where they can post their stupid ass images and laugh at themselves all day. i cant take any of their shit seriously and i can barely even comment on the youtube videos anymore. logic took a back seat a long time ago in favor of acting like 12 year olds with zero common sense. its like schoolyard bullies picking on a disabled kid. i am not calling amico disabled but intellivision has a huge disadvantage and needs all the help it can get and these people choose to mock and argue and bitch about price with their time instead of helping. maybe that is their way of helping. i think screwing everything up is a funny way of helping.

I am always looking for a fun pinball game to play and I am hoping one is in the plans for the Amico.

Maybe a four player coop game where each player controls a different flipper on the table.

Video pinball is a lot of fun when done right and would make a great interactive family game!😊👍

This got me thinking, will there be a mode within certain games, beyond co-op, where it can also be player 1, player 2 as well? If the levels are short, this is fun as well.

@Tommy Tallarico  I received a really nice response from Kevin S. and he confirmed that you have in fact assembled an incredible crew.  It got me wondering, who are some of the other unsung people behind Amico at IE HQ?

We intend on introducing most of them when we get back in the office and to normalcy.

Slade is our Mechanical Engineer and is SUPER AMAZING.  He moved out from Ohio with his wife and best friend Todd who is our product manager.  These 2 are super incredible and mega talented young guys and will probably be featured in some of our upcoming videos of me sneaking up on our team.   :)

Thank you for the LordRayken Rant.  Its nice to know others share the same level of frustration, but we need to remember that is their goal.  Best to just procedurally boot them and move on.

My son was asking me all kinds of questions about the Amico I didnt have answers for, mostly about the memory card stuff, power of the games but most importantly to me if there were one player versions of the games that had a higher skill difficulty than the coop versions that were designed to be playable by everyone.

I am sure he would love a lot of games if they were challenging enough in one player mode.

Agreed.  I always appreciated and liked our back and forth as you were also respectful in giving your opinions and concerns.

And yes... there's another word for folks who go out of their way to pick on the underdogs.  It's called a BULLY.

Their goal isn't to give concerns and criticisms... it's to make fun of something and discriminate against something that is different or they don't understand.

Another word for that is...  RACIST!

They are GAMING RACISTS.

There.  I said it.

DUDE!!!  Friendly's was my absolutely FAVORITE!!!!!!!

I grew up in Springfield, MA which is right next to Wilbraham, MA where the plant and home office was for Friendly's.  And we lived on the boarder of Springfield so it was only a few miles from my house.

We took tours in grade school of the plant and would always go there after every baseball game with the whole family and team.  So many GREAT memories there.

When I went back to Springfield for the first time in about 15 years (a few years ago) was so sad to find out that our local Friendly's (the one I went to the most) had JUST closed a few months before.  I literally sat in my rental car in the parking lot and cried.  Crazy emotional moment.  It was like a part of my childhood was no longer there and it upset me.  One of the BIGGEST reasons behind bringing Intellivision back as well!  Not gonna let this one die.

And if folks feel I get too defensive or show too much emotion and that I don't "act" like a typical CEO.  Now you know why.  This is PERSONAL for me.  I'm not some well paid 7 figure earning suit or CEO talking head concerned with stock holders and the "bottom line" or our "quarterly returns".  This is much deeper and a lot more personal.

Ha,  I grew up in Worcester MA.  Had a Carvel and Friendly's a block apart.   DQ actually required a drive..  But we had Howard Johnson's, Newport Creamery and A&W near us.

My wife loves Friendly's and we still go from time to time.  Most have closed near us :(  but we have one about 15 minutes away that is very nice.

Feeling supper nostalgic...  WPIX  11Alive  in NY, used to show TV-PIXxxx  Of course the Intellivision games!

But you were talking about a celebrity to be part of the kick-off of Amico....   When I first read that,  I flashed back to CRAZY EDDIE...  His prices are INSANE!

p.s.  That's their goal.  And when their little phony "independent" thread got shut down... they come in here to lob their passive aggressive nonsense in hopes to deter folks.

Again... these are grown adult men in their 40's & 50's.

Pretty pathetic.

Yeah!  We would stop in a HoJo's every once in awhile (typically on the Mass Pike on our way home from the Boston area) and get ice cream as well!  Are they still around??  (the ice cream)

You are 100% correct. In journalism 101 the first thing I was taught was the 5 W's - who, what, when, why and where. Nowhere did it include my opinion. This is the number one problem with news and journalism today!

The bigger problem is that as a society, we allow it to continue by those that do not recognize it, and support it.

Another thing society does not realize is news is a business and they love bad news. Their ratings are sky high now so they will continue with their polarizing opinions.

Hey,

@Tommy Tallarico I was just reminiscing about the gameplay reveal trailer and the microsecond glimpse we got of the plane game.  Any updates on that game. title, release window?

Or was it really just a tease for the unnamed sequel to Pitfall 2 in which Harry now gets to fly a plain on his way to loot dungeons with quickclaw and Rhonda :)

Here’s the avenue for speaking out,

https://www.fcc.gov/consumers/guides/complaints-about-broadcast-journalism

One issue is that we need to send a common message, and unfortunately I just do not see that happening in this day and age.

Not going to get into the second issue, but I’m sure you all know what that is.

Maybe Journalism is the next industry Tommy needs to look to disrupt.

The last HoJo's I was aware of was College SQ in Worcester, that closed in the 90's  I haven't seen the ice cream for 30 years :( I think HoJo's may have even been selling Hersey Ice Cream at the end.

I know you are a car guy...  But if I say Riverside... What do you think?     I still call Six Flags, Riverside...  Oh,  they had a track back in the day!  So, I can say, I have been to Riverside Speedway!  LOL

I work in IT and everyone is younger than me...  Non of them ever heard of riverside park. So sad...

I think they had the first loop coaster?   I did not fact check that....

I'd include this in a mini-games title called "Amico Pub Games", (maximum font size for dramatic purposes) along with air hockey, foosball, darts an a few others.

My aussie was younger lastbtearvduring holiday  suddenly  cane down with a case of parvovirus  vet was closed energency vet closed and animal hospital closed. I tried everything to hydrate her  she dudnt even make  a day.   She was good at park I cane home with her sge went up stairs and plopped down making me help her.... she did that sometimes just to be silly but not this time. I got her through door she went to bowl locked some water layed down but dudnt wanna move or anything whennimput food out.    I havent got a new dig yet ...and with being out of work due to Corona I have been tempted to foster... because im.bit ready to adopt just yet....but u talked myself out because I know I'm not gonna be gaoot when someone adios as I'll get attached quick.   She was like 9

oh wow, yeh not easy, but you sound like you did what you could.  There are some strong souls in the world that I know that take in sickly dogs from pounds that are at the end of their days, but these kind people take them in anyway to give the pooch or cat a nice lasting more comfy and loving way to leave this world.  So great of them.  Same goes for adoptions... it may be hard on us to let them go BUT... imagine if you will that pet has a loving home until he/she can move onto a new family that he/she will take care of.  I often see pets take care of us and not the other way around.  They love non conditionally and are some of the best animals on the planet... much better than many humans.

So don't talk yourself out of it as it may be your calling.
