I just watched @Michael Garvey interview with @Tommy Tallarico and I must say it was one of the most polished and enjoyable interviews I have seen in a long time.

I am  truly impressed with the questions and his demeanor.  Mr Garvey has such a calming voice and is well suited to the YouTube.   I am so excited the YouTube and Amico community is getting such a great new channel and voice, lets all support Mr Garvey. Colour me impressed :0

Fostering.  That's funny.

Stop kidding yourself!  Take the RED PILL!!

You're only fooling yourself if you think you will foster and not wind up owning them.  Hahahha!  ;)

The term my wife uses is "Foster Fails".  We have one of those!   Yeah...yeah... we're only gonna watch this cute little confused scared puppy for a few weeks til we find a good home for her.

Good luck with that!

🥰🐶😍

This is true. My aussie was a rescue she was in the woods malnourished  less than 6 pounds about 6 or 7 weeks old.  I brought her  home and within an hr fed her and brought her to vet for exam a d shots and proper  food and all for her.    I understand the force will be weak with me and I'll totally have a new dog.

Interesting tidbit about Fig.  Intellivision is also mentioned in the article.

Yeah!  Chuck & Justin are both good friends of mine and lets just say there is a "reason" you're seeing our pre-order on Fig right now.

Big plans coming soon and in the future!

:)

This thread is entertaining and bringing back a lot of memories, especially about 80's New England.  I'm from Maine, and we had a drugstore chain called LaVerdiere's, and by the mid 80s they all had arcades attached to them.  You go $20 worth tokens if you brought in a report card with all A's and B's.  Loved that place.  Growing up in northern Maine required some serious travel for legit 'entertainment'.  The closest amusement park was actually the one in Mass you have been talking about!  We never went, the rides make me puke.  I love going fast, but I have to be the one steering the ship.

Anyway, on topic:  Playing cornhole again today, and found myself wondering if the user will be able to create their own board graphic design?  We built and painted our own for the backyard, it would be cool to bring them 'inside', so to speak.  Minor stuff, I know.  Just curious.

As an old-head Intellivision fan, (same age as Tommy) one of the things I'm looking forward to most on Amico, is the eventual re-release of all the old Intellivision games, because this will be the first re-release that will also include all the LICENSED content the original system had (Tron: Deadly Discs, Burgertime, Bump 'n Jump, Lock 'n Chase, etc.)

Tommy, can you give an approximate time frame for when the old games will be re-released for the Amico?

From what I heard believe I heard right from Tommy is that they possibly will later down the road. But they dont want the public to look at this as another retro mini console. By releasing original games that would give that kind of image

I know all that. I am also certain those games will be re-released. I'd just like an idea of when. Tommy, do you have an approximate date?

Because of covid-19, launch date is not 100% sure.

How do you want Tommy to know this ?

Let's say Year 2.

I posted this here because I found all these great metal signs while working through my video game corner.

They were made for me by Brian,AKA Crazy Climber who bounced in and out of the intellivision world between 2014-2016.

He did great work and made these super intellivision signs, coaster sets etc. on his CNC metal cutting machine.

I love this stuff and a couple of them hang on my game room walls.

I took them down to share these pictures.

I figured this is at least as valuable to share here as the usual focus on what negative people say about the Amico.

Remain positive everyone and share fun stuff!😊👍

I'm amazed you found this little treasure trove at all as I have seen all the stuff you have in your room and you must be constantly rediscovering items all the time. Seriously, Dale's collection is massive!

Think October 2020 to March 2021

I'm thinking more like early-mid 2022.

At the earliest I would think. Plenty to do before they think of releasing The original Intellivision games. I don’t imagine it’s a priority.

I know there are many comic book fans here, so here's a question: has any of you tried to read ALL the issues from a particular comic book hero?

I have digital versions of all Superman comic books. Since he's my favorite hero from the major ones (because of the sci fi nature of his story), I'm sometimes tempted to read Action Comics #1 and go on with #2,#3... I'm sure we would discover a few interesting  cultural things along the way (and perhaps read a few good stories too).

Of course, this would be easier for a Spiderman fan like Tommy, as he was created in the early 60s.

Funny you should say that.

My son swore up and down that I had a bunch of his PS Vita games somewhere so we started tearing apart my video game area.

My Wife actually had his games the whole time, but in doing so I found a lot of great stuff I either forgot I had or didnt know where to find!😄
